From TFCC's Twitter:
The TFCC just tweeted that the Runabout name wasn't available, so he will be named something else. Also, full reveal coming today.
looks like he'll be called Over-Run... but whatever, I want the toy and will call him Runabout still...
I posted their responses in the other thread:
From TFCC's Twitter:
Interesting. I'm guessing run-around
EDIT : er.... or over-run
Eh; that's how trademark law works. Fair enough.
We all know what he's supposed to be named. No different than Streetstar or Fisitron.
So it's the duo of "Over-Run" and "Runamuck" basically.
I say..that works for me (and I can always consider "Runabout", Over-run's Nickname).
Be interesting to see Over-Run's Reveal later on, ^^
(Basically, I am fine with the name change for this Decepticon.)
No "Decepticon Runabout"?
A Runabout by any other name is stil a Runabout to me.
I'm not worried about the names I'm worried about aquiring both of these awesome guys. These guys represent the 2nd and 3rd TFCC figure that I actually want. P/CP was the first but that story is still a sore spot for me.
Don't care, just give me the damn toy already.
The names on the packaging are completely meaningless. It's still Runabout to me. I'm definitely looking forward to the robot mode reveal.
Oh dear lord. Just callthe sumbitch runabout....over run is so lame. Least the figure looks frickin cool!
Well...at least the name actually wasn't avaliable this time instead of being called out as being an offensive term. And the toy will actually be out on time, unlike the ex-Spastic Over-Run.
For sale???? Or just an image?
The packaging could call him Steve for all most people care - he'll still be Runabout once everyone has him in hand
Funny text from Lumpy...
Just the image, I believe...I think it was confirmed that they would be up for sale next week, but I could be wrong.
Should have called him Runaboot and made him Canadian.
I'm surprised they didn't go with the simpler "Decepticon Runabout".
Separate names with a comma.
