when buying their exclusives, im curious-are the toys usually good quality? like minimal QC errors and stuff like that. i ask cause im excited about Dion, but would hate to get him and find a problem, cause its not as easy as going to Walmart and exchanging him for one that works.

Can you even exchange it since it's free?

I've exchanged Botcon exclusives at the convention with no problem. All you should have to do is call up the club if there is a problem and ship it back and they will replace it. Those guys are good people.

im doubtful, and its practically a gift. i wouldnt want to even try to return it if there was a problem, which is why i was wondring how the QC is.

I wouldn't call it a "gift", as you are paying the fee to be part of the club, so if there was anything wrong with it, I'd give them a ring.
But, I've never heard any QC issues with them anyway.

So far as I'm aware, their exclusives are licensed by Hasbro and made in the same factories, so there's no real reason they should be worse than retail toys (aside from mold degradation). I currently have about 11 of their figures and I don't see anything crummy about them (however, 2 of them were slightly misassembled. One of Nightbeat's connector pieces was backwards (easily fixed, though), and Scourge has 2 left biceps)

Not only is TFCC exclusives QC the same as regular Hasbro products, but FP customer service is outstanding. In the off chance you had an issue they'd fix it for you.

Bear in mind they can't do much for you if you're buying bagged toys from a third party, that are long since sold out.
