What increase in postage? Last time I checked, I can still get one or more deluxes shipped to me from the US for at $10-$25, and I've never paid $50 to ship just one. Stop lying to us Pete. There is no real reason why the club has inflated international postage, other then you guys just want to make more money.
Are you going to give them the extra time for it to arrive? Because if it's mailed out even this week, there's no guarantee it'll arrive in time. Hopefully your cutoff date means "must be postmarked by" and not "must arrive by". EDIT: Because of all the club's problems, the deadline is now 7 days earlier. Punishing international members for no reason. Not cool. Accept anything postmarked by the 16th. Damn. PLEASE. Do this for your members.

There is a hard deadline for when we have to get the 2012 mailing list delivered for the free membership figures to ship on schedule. If we miss it it could delay shipping until after BotCon... Any international orders mailed this week should easily reach us by the 16th.

What's stopping you from doing it in two batches then? Ship the ones ordered before the 16th, then ship the ones that you got postmarked before the 16th but that arrived after in a separate batch? Also, the bubble wrap thing is also nuts. I look at any other online store and they INCLUDE bubble wrap.
There is also the shipping cost for the magazines. This might not be much but it does add a bit more to the total shipping cost. I wish they would bring the online part of the club into the present. Offer pdf options (not force it on everyone), paypal, a better forum. Hopefully all this mess helps them to update their method.

Hey Pete, I threw away the mailer that was sent a few weeks ago with the envelope to send a renewal in, since, of course, I didn't expect all of this CC stuff to happen. Can I just go ahead and mail my money order to you guys in a flat-rate priority box to have tracking and make sure it gets to you?

They have to hope they have the money this week, two weeks before they planned on before. Some people have to plan their finances tight. They may not have the money together by the new, shorter deadline. That's not fair. I'm fine with the free figure shipping after Botcon if that means it makes things easier for my international friends.

you guys do know the tfcc round table at botcon is going to be like Mike Tyson boxing match a couple of rounds then a knock out this will be interesting
