no paint yet but i thought i'd go ahead and post. my camera died before i could get bot and jet mode pics so i'll get to that eventually.

i didn't like the tfcc combiner so i had darkov cast all the body parts of a silverbolt for me to match the red and blue. plan is to use yellow, silver, and black like on heatwave. i think i'm going to paint the fp kit black cause i don't like the gray.

and since i was making superion, i decided to make a bruticus too. this is brutality set from a few years back and casted head from darkov. it too still needs paint.

    Ebay:
Brutality Set? The kidbash set? Shame it isn't sold anymore, wouldn't mind having had a set of those parts towards a NP custom as well.

Anyway neat ideas... Not sure about painting the actual TFCC bots on account that they have some value to them unchanged. (Keep seeing the set itself range from 250 to 350 on eBay). Perhaps see if you can buy Energon bots to repaint them how you see fit, then resell the TFCC ones?

(I looked into the TFCC bots before and seeing aftermarket prices made me cringe... fortunately I have two spare Combat and Aerial Team bots willing to be sacced for such a custom myself.)

I'm not painting the limbs, just the custom cast silverbolt/stormjet.

Im sure it will look even better after I paint it.

Do you mean for just the cast parts or the cmplete package? Neither was cheap, especially the latter.

On the superion legs you can take off the inside arms off each robot so he's not standing spread eagle. The hands on the arms you took off will peg onto a peg on each side of silverbolts shoulder on his back.

Maybe now, but not after it gets paint. If anything I think it looks like a prototype as is.

Wish I could take the credit. All I did was tell him what color to cast in. I hope I don't jack up the paint.

prolly' really late on this, but any chance in having a run on those silverbolt clear torsos made? lol missed a "prototype" silverbolt (all blue) on ebay not too long ago, and a "prototype fansproject ariel appendage kit" cast in all clear blue... then I find this old ass forum today of all days...

not to mention, where in the hell can people find kidbash kits these days?

I don't think Darkov is in the parts casting business anymore, unfortunately.
