Wow!! This thing is shaping up soooo nicely. Full of blocky G1 goodness. Love this set! 

 

I have to say I'm not completely fond of "Bonecrucher's" head, but it's a minor nitpick, especially compared to the awesomeness that Mxmaster is going to be! Mach is SO far away....I can't wait to get Devs imposing al the other TFs on my Classics shelf.

TFC, please do ALL the combiners!

Actually, I don't. I use to deal with cranes and strattlelifts. You know how much of a pain in the ass it is to manually re-spool cables? If this functions like the real deal, then be prepared for the strings to get royally fucked up down the line.

 

Yo dawg... I heard you like guns... Mixmaster might as well be a Combaticon with that many armaments!

The wheels on his shoulders look odd however. I know they're there both to match the G1 design AND to provide EIGHT mount points for his absurd amounts of guns... but eh... maybe optionally allow it to be clippable onto his forearms instead of stuck at the shoulders.

Minor gripe aside, that figure's well done I think. Definitely looking forward to the whole set being completed... seven months from now. >_<

look closely, i think i see a joint inside his right shoulder that would allow the freaky wheel-shoulders to pivot/swing down into placeon his outter upper arm

 

Question, can the wheels on Mixmaster's shoulders be flipped down?

Wow, it looks like TFC are busy to show us the resin prototypes of these guys and guys I can't wait to get them all.

 

I would have never guessed that Mixmaster's headcannon would become the Dev's chest shield. I have to agree that I don't see a whole lot of resemblances in some of the headsculpts but other than that they're awesome! Definately glad I bought Exgraver and Heavylabor. Also, I'm assuming that we're getting two versions of a combined Devy gun: one in purple and one in red. Sounds awesome! Especially since you can switch the colors out between them.

On a side not I really can't wait to see their Dinobot Combiner now. I really haven't liked the photos we've seen but this latest batch of Dev pictures has my hopes up again.

Yes! Oh sweet merciful god YES! All these years of waiting and I am 100% happy with mixmaster. Gonna be buying 2 of him. Suck on that naysayers and all your theories about it not coming out or being rushed.

 

Mad Blender looks amazing, I'm just not loving the head, more specifically the face. It's just not very Mixmaster at all; I think he should have eyes more like Structor and the nose should be an extension of the helmet. Everything else is great though, especially the drum.

 

do I see a 5mm peg on Structor's roof?

 

Jesus, the engineering of these things is so above & beyond what we typically see from any third party that I'm almost convinced a few Takara designers are moonlighting to help make this happen   Save for a few of the head designs, they really hit this whole project out of the park. Scrapper in particular is just amazing.

 

I do not have the words, this is beyond anything we've ever seen before.

I can live with the heads very easily. Actually it is a non issue for me. But whatever this thing is missing in the end (which will be only due to nitpicking and G1 faithfulness) I can see any of the many 3rd party groups jumping on board and making fixes.
