Just like I did with exgraver I take apart heavyload here and show you hot to fix the problem with the leg where it won't completely straighten, and I also take apart the body and show you how to fix the springs in the legs so they don't destroy the gears of the legs..

HIGHLY recommended you do the fix to the leg gears before it eats your teeth.. It wasn't good design that the spring doesn't give at all...

Let me know what you think if you find it useful!

excellent tutorial, thanks. one question though, after having fixed it as you showed and tested the joint, have you by chance opened it back up to see if the gear is free of further damage?

Honestly.. No I haven't! I'll go open it back up tomorrow and take a pic and post it here.. I suspect, since the force it took to move it the first time was drastically different, that the problem is solved! Stay tuned!

Great tutorial man. Just finished mine.

Took it apart again after doing this and the teeth are perfectly fine.

Whole thing took about 10 mins (I skipped some parts of the vid :p )

    Thanks again!

Still golden. Before taking the pic I ratched the legs back and forth a bunch of times.

Thanks for the vid - looks like mine has some damage, which I hadn't noticed too much up to taking it apart. I'm hoping that they'll send some replacement parts like they did with Exgraver.

All the teeth on mine were gone before I did the fix so fixing it didn't do any good. I wish I could just flip the gears around but I don't want the legs facing the other way

When you say the waist assembly is similar to G1 Scattershot, do you mean that it could also be compatible?

I'm not sure to be honest.
The spring inside the waist is the same type of spring that allows rotation of G1 Scattershot's Arms. I do not think they would be the same size, bu you could always try. That being said the springs in G1 Scattershot are also subject to almost 30 years of aging, and at least in my scattershot the one spring was sheered in half.

Yup it comes with neckbreaker and there's debate on how much the fix is actually a fix.

If the fix indeed fixes it I wouldn't bother with this tutorial.
Check out the last 5 pages or so of the mega thread. :)
