SG Devastator would be a huge pass!!!

 

Did I miss something? Was it confirmed that it is SG Devastator?

 

Making more cash off of a SG repaint of Herc to fund a Herc-sized Omega Supreme would be a GREAT plan of attack for TFC.

Except I can't imagine them making too much money off of SG Herc...is he really gonna sell that well?

 

It's pretty much "he tell me" at the moment, except that "he" in this case is Optibotimus, and I don't see any reason why he would lie about it.

found them via google search, so I don't know who made them. Pretty sure there's a complete SG Herc mock-up out there somewhere too.

 

If true, I don't know if that is brave or just stupidly optimistic on TFC's part. Are there really that many people out there willing & able to drop over $600 on an uber niche market fanwank white repaint of the Constructicons/Devastator? Even a G2 repaint is risky, but still makes more sense than SG does... I would think.

 

Yeah I can't see them making a ton of cash off of a SG repaint, but they will make more money to add to the considerable pile the have already made off of the first run of Herc.

Plus the repaint would buy them some time to work on/refine their next project, which I honestly hope will be Omeg Supreme or some other Autobot base/city former.

Have the two Star Cats combiners already hit the market? If so, even more loot to go towards their next project.

 

I'd rather they get the Starcats stuff out first personally.

While there is a lot of white on Superion as a whole, Skydive doesn't have any at all. He's grey, red, and black.

My guess goes to Computron.

 

Except they have to pay to have the SG set made. It is not like these are free.

As to the "pile of cash", if you think the entire net profit for Herc is more or even as much as the CEO of Hasbro makes, well then I have a bridge to sell you.

 

Shattered glass doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, if they repainted it in Diaclone colours or as Six-Builder however....

 

Torque, I'm glad all your work was for more than the already announced rage set, but how fuggin' lame is it the 'reveal' was a dumbass hint? Talk about BS...

I personally hope it's SG Dev because I'm leaning toward skipping TFC's stuff in the future and SG Dev, while very nice looking, would be an easy pass...especially once they end up giving SG Neckbreaker a yellow blade or some random-ass color!   Their stuff is too expensive, though, and their joints are just too much of a question mark to play Russian roulette with, so I'm hoping it's either an unnecessary repaint or something that looks as mediocre as the Dinobiner or Starcats...whatever that shit's called.

 

If its SG Hercules then I'll pass. New combiner, then I'll get.

 

hm.. all white huh? while i can not think of any combiner team that all have white as a major part of their color scheme, i can think of a few that have a lot of white. my guesses would either be airialbots, protectobots, or technobots.

now, if they had said "gold" as opposed to white, i probably would have died on the spot, because that would probably mean predaking.

 

Where the hell did this come from?  


...and as far as it not being "free" to produce a SG version, it's not like they will need to start to make the molds from the ground up like they did for the first release of Herc. It stands to reason that they will make that much more profit off of any subsequent repaints.

 

I going with SG devastator, sense hercules is already done they can make more profit off the molds as to put forth more design money.

 

The Protectobots all have a fair amount of white. Who knows, but if you're guessing a combiner team they're really the only one that fits. Technobots have noticeably less IMO. And Aerrialbots less again.
