the toy looks nice but that bulky lens on the arm looks meh

 

I like it but if it ends up costing as much as a real EOS I won't be buying it.

It looks cool enough, but I don't like the realistic color choice. Reminds me too much of those Real-whatchamacallems from the movie line. G1 colors or GTFO. But it's okay because I'm more than happy with my PE set anyhow.

 

This. I think they'd look alot better in G1 colours but I also can't get past Viewfinder being taller than the other two.

Perfect Effect are more than fine with me, pass.

 

Not bad, but the PE set I have works well enough. (Plus, I need to prioritize third party stuff given how much I have on my docket)

Maybe the lens is a weapon, & he's just holding it up like a blaster & it just looks like it's on his shoulder since it's so big (fingers crossed)..?

Agreed, it looks like its meant for a weapon and totally removable.

As others have stated, Im not digging Viewfinder being bigger then the other bots, and the realistic color.. just doesn't make it look like the G1 Toys at all...

A very cool Transforming toy none the less, but I'll be passing, P.E Reflector works perfect for me for a classics shelf.. but Maybe this can be someones MASTERPIECE version in there collection.

Neat. The alt mode is pretty much dead on realistic. An odd but interesting choice. The bots are nicely sculpted too. That said, I'm not getting much of a G1 vibe from the bots themselves, which is a shame. The size differences of each one doesn't help either. Will have to see some in hand reviews before deciding if these guys are worth it since I'm very happy with my PE Scouting Force X guys (with Reprolabels) minus their tiny size.

 

Exactly why I can't wait for this set!!

I like robots that are well disguised. This, to me, is exactly how an upgrade should be handled. There's nothing realistic or disguising about a purple, grey, and green camera (G1 Reflector).

Although I understand how cool it'd be to stand these next to G1 and see the progression, isn't it a little harsh to say you won't get these just because they're not the "correct" color? All you guys passing because it's not a perfect copy of G1 just leave more for me  

I could do without the LED in the lens. Just raises the price for no gain.

 

I'm personally not trying to fool anyone into thinking I have a real camera...

Although it's odd to see so many take issue with the size difference with the bots (which I agree with) but think it's all good in the hood with Maketoys' Giant bots...

 

I wouldn't try to fool anyone either. I guess it's just a little odd to me to have the color be a make or break thing. I remember people loving MP Starscream but saying they would not get it unless it was in G1 colors. If you like the mold, grab it.

It will, no doubt, cost a bunch though, so I guess even a detail such as color can be important when you're talking so much money.

If they were to release a G1 version, that would be cool though.
