Because it's fun, and original. Plus from a sales point of view, I'm guessing if you are making a 3rd party product, you want to associate it with a major character. So this is what Megatron would be IF he was a headmaster. BTW, all the Headmasters have three modes. Blaster turns into a head or a boombox. Megatron a head or a tank. Magnus a head or a semi-truck cab.
TFC DSLR Camera is cool. I am look forward to see extra accessories like big flash light or change lens (each lens have different weapons.) Otherwise I will stay with PE reflector and my Panasonic GF2.
BBTS has a bunch of this stuff for pre-order as of today. The 3 new head figures and the two new weapon sets.. no sign of the camera guys though All the listings indicate they are limited to only 1000 each. Adding this info here since this seems like the most relevant thread.
Ah, cool! I emailed BBTS a week or os ago about the not-megatron Headmaster I saw at TFsource, and they didn't know it was coming up - they emailed their seller for JB and said the preorder would be up in a few days. Nice to see they followed though.
Dang, looks like they have pretty much finished it up, I wouldn't even know it's a freaking Transformer! This thing is nuttz!!
I know it's not G1 colors, but that looks like a ROCKING new take on Reflector. Can't wait to see the robot mode pics for this.
I really want to like it but I can't. The different robot sizes are the instant put off for me, the realistic colours just nail the door shut. Good for you guys who want some updated Reflector love but it's a big MEH for me. Look at the OP and post #11.
The prototype pictures of the 'bot modes were such shellformers, and we see why that is, now. Personally I'm super happy with Scouting Force X. The identical robots and boss accessories on SFX allows me to ignore this one.
