It's... interesting. Definitely not Metroplex bad, but only the front half of Menasor looks like a decent vehicle. Large figures like Scourge, Sonic Bomber, the leaders, and even to a point Jetfire/Sky Shadow don't suck like the Giant Planet guys consistently do. Why must they? It's really silly, seeing as futuristic alt modes are supposed to eliminate the figure sucking in one of its modes for the sake of accuracy.

Still, I should stress again, this isn't Metroplex bad. Maybe the fully painted bot mode will make his appearance acceptable - or seal his fate on the Do Not Buy list.

Personally, hands or not, I think this figure is one of the cooler looking and thus will be a purchase.

 

I thinkits a total buy and i actually really like metroplex. yes his alt mode isnt the best but its awesome

 

All the Gigalonia characters are a definite buy for me, they all look really awesome. Save for Megalo Convoy's vehicle mode.

 

It seems Hasbro & Takara have hit their stride with the smaller Deluxe and Basic transformers...and pretty much lost it on the monsters. What the heck is this guy supposed to be? I mean, yeah, I see the general suggestion of "big drilling" thing but it looks like nothing...familiar, recognizable, something that I'd truly consider to be a robot's disguise.

Not sold. I think it looks dumb.

 

Sheesh people, buy a damn Alternator if you want a realistic alt mode, and complicated transformation. Remember, this is a kids' line after all.

I like Menasor. Love the colors, and he's pretty imposing.

It's nothing new with big toys having shitty transformations.

Personally, I like the giant planet guys, I hope Blender/Quickmix will show up soon, I'm really looking forward to getting his toy.

Leader, Ultra, and Voyager sized for the three Giant Planet guys. Can't make everyone a supreme, as much as we'd like that.

Hey, we're only getting two supremes(as far as we know) in Cybertron, they could have made Metroplex a supreme.

 

Well it's darker than I expected, but still looks pretty cool. Been planning on picking up this guy and Metroplex from their intro in GF, and this doesn't change that.  

 

Eh, it's just ok to me.

 

Well in Energon we got 1 supreme mold, and 2 repaints, Cybertron is giving us 2 unique supreme molds so that's more in a way already. Who knows... there could be a Starscream or Primus repaint for the Xmas06 season.

Cybertron is also giving us 3 leader molds, Energon only had 2 and Armada only had 1.

 

Hmmmm... I like the looks of the alt mode but.... Non-transformations just kill a figure for me. No, he's not as bad as Metroplex. And since he's cheaper than Metroplex I might pick him up, but I really can't stand the transformation.

Looks like the giant planet guys are being designed for the kiddies with simplicity in mind. That's fine with me. There's more than enough 'bots I like to keep me happy.

I like the figure. hes not an earth based bot. so his alt mode isnt going to be primarily used for disguise, but for faster movement, and building stuff, which i think these figures have. its a definite purchase for me.
