Who do you think will be shelf-warmers?

I would say Blackarchnia, Wreck-gar, and Lockdown for kid standards.
Blackarchnia because mostly boy's like transformers, so if they see a girl, I think they will ignore it.

Wreck-gar because he only had 1 episode so far, so kids will ignore him.(probably also because his alt-mode is a garbage truck with no weapons, probably a vacume cleaner)

Lockdown- Adult fans may be looking crazy for him(I'm 13, just fyi), but since kids don't see much of him, they might ignore him.

I only have Bulky, Lockdown, Ratchet and Prowl, so I may be wrong.

Well, as far as collectors go, I'm fairly certain that Sentinel Prime will be left behind in most cases.

I'd say oil slick would be a likely candidate. He is the only toy that doesn't get portrayed in the cartoon at all, so kids aren't gonna buy it.

Good, more of Mr.Spoon for me:D . As for shelf warmers, I don't really see anything as the line looks very nice, but if I had to choose someting I'd go with Oil Slick as kids will have no idea who he is because he hasn't appeared yet(that might change by the time he's out though)

I don't think any will be, These are gonna fly off until they over produce them. I am buying all of them and 1 extra of all of them so when I am 60 I can sell them on ebay MOC for hundreds of dollars to the future adults like most of us,

I think any of the characters that are reissued over and over again in different sizes will end up as shelf warmers. Most kids will only buy one prime ect ect...

Yeah Im with Moonracer the ones that get multiple versions because hasbro thinks that kids will definatly want at least one version, Im thinking that Leader Bulkhead might become 'the shelfwarmer' of animated.

    Ebay:
Voyager Bulkhead - Heavily featured character on the show, but kids may not be all that interested in the Voyager-priced fat-bot with little legs who's the size of a Deluxe. He'll probably start to get picked up after kids have worked their way through the other Autobots just so they have a complete team.

Leader Bulkhead - Kids will probably have exhausted their "please please please I want that"s before they get around to this guy.

Sentinel Prime - being a Deluxe, his low price may redeem him, but I doubt it.

Blackarachnia - Collectors might save her from being a shelf-warmer, though I hear she's not the greatest TFA toy.

Lugnut - I would say he's another Voyager Bulkhead, but collectors might rescue this figure as well.

Lockdown definitely, possibly Voyager Bulkhead and Cybertron Mode Megatron. Sort of hard to tell at this point in the game.

    Curious what your predictions are!

I am going to say hot: Grimlock & Leader Ultra-Magnus (when it comes out)

Shelf warmer: The spider, whatever her name is :p  and Leader Bulkhead

Without a doubt Grimlock is gonna be a pain to find. I also see Bulkhead (either version) being popular, kids like the character. From what I hear Ratchet and Blackarachnia are already warming shelves compared to the other figures. Prime could be tougher to find as well, because..it's Prime.

Ratchet and Blackarachnia will most certainly be shelfwarmers, as will Bulkhead and Lugnut. Kids like toy robots that look more humanoid than that.

simple answer, all of them will be warming all of our shelves...

as we enjoy them all lol!

but for seriousness, don't know, i guess the non-show characters, will be, and the cons will probably be shelf warmers too, more so then the others, bumblebee will fly off the shelves like he did for the movie, yet his repaint will shelf warm.

the prime/megatron 2 pack probably will shelf warm.

and the leader class guys *both* will probably shelf warm until the christmas season.

when bigger toys, sell better. same with supreme optimus prime.

ultra magnus will probably, as well.

though i see the dinobots selling very well.

Bulkhead's a shelfwarmer up here already.

Problem is that he's packed 2 to 1 Megatron and 1 Starscream.

I'd much rather Starscream than Bulkhead. Bulkhead's a good figure, but kids like planes more, I think.

As for deluxes, I see a lot of Lockdowns on shelves.
