I contacted customer service about the listing on Hasbro's site for Voyager Thundercracker and this was her response. I know customer service people may be told to say certain things but she responded promptly and felt like she had looked up the item when I sent her the link....hey we can hope right =)

If this is shipping now I'd be VERY surprised. Sadly I think that was a generic copy & paste reply relating to any possible future products. Ask about Leader-class Lugnut and see if you get the same response.

yeah, that seems unlikely since none of those stores really carry animated anymore, with the exception of TRU... and since TRU has had the last 4 deluxes as exclusive, i'd imagine if anything we'll get TC and BO as TRU exclusives... maybe...

There's no way that's accurate information. I could buy that TRU or Hasbro Toy Shop might eventually carry it, but not Wal-Mart.

People seem to be under the belief that since we've seen packaged samples of Thundercracker and Mudbuster Mudflap that the production run is complete and awaiting distribution

It seem uneconomic to produce toys, then store them, when you don't know where they're going.

When Hasbro reps at Botcon said all toys would release 'some way' they weren't necessarily refering to Hasbro distribution channels.

Sorry, but i think Animated is done in the US.

    Takara...eh quite possibly.

No. If anything, we'll see a TRU exclusive, but there should be no hope in this. They may well replace all of those customer service reps with Cleverbot.

I'd believe Kmart.com over Walmart at this point in Animated's life.

This would be great to have, but I'm not very optimistic about it coming out.

yeah there is no way this is going to all stores, it will be exclusives and stores will have a hard sell to take on as they are voyagers.

and yes just cause we saw a few in packages does not mean there is a warehouse full some where.

i already got tc so im set :)

I dunno, I had a chance to buy some of these last winter around xmas through an "alternate channel"; so there were some produced, enough that some could make their was onto the secondary market and not be missed.

I'm still kicking myself for passing on these, but I was under the impression that they would be on the shelves in January though :/ *sigh* ya live and ya learn I guess, bet I never let something like that happen to me again.

They canceled it. According to TFWiki.

But why Thundercracke? Why not Ramjet or Slipstream?

If TFA TC does get released, and I really hope he + Blackout do, I'd be very surprised if they were anything but TRU exclusives.

Damn, this thread popping up again got my hopes up for a second there'd be some good news.

I did check TFWiki and Mudbuster Bulkhead, which was also semi-slated for release with Thundercracker (had it come off)...isn't listed as canceled by TFWiki but instead as "No Promises: This item is not on a release schedule, but Hasbro is examining options for its availability." Not exactly a ringing endorsement either, but different than their Canceled status they gave Thundercracker (I noticed the difference a couple of nights ago when I was researching some stuff). Either way...damn.

Because Skywarp's already out, and most people would prefer to have the "original trio."

Umm, yes I said I saw that above. I'm just saying, for whatever reason, the statuses they've given them are different, but I'm not getting my hopes up that that could mean something either.
