    He doesn't look very transmutated though. Looks more like an alien than the disfigured transmutate.

    The idea was that he was a modified Protoform with shapeshifting abilities, hence the name. :)  The most disfigured he gets is when he does too much and ends up looking like Autobot X. (Wow, so obscure, yeah?)

    Where did this info come from? Thats certainly not what happened in Beast Wars.
