while i can not dispute your talent, turning prowl into a fembot has me slightly creeped out. but only slightly and i still loves it lots
These both look great but I'm actually a bit more impressed with Airazor. I think the mold choice is really inspired and the bio you wrote makes her fit perfectly into the Animated universe in that she's not truly a flying autobot/maximal but has flight-like abilities. It's great that you managed to incorporate classic traits into the designs. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.
sweet customs, bios were well written too. I can't wait to see the rest of the Axalon crew done up like this. Tigatron and Airazor are probably my fav Beast Wars characters and I think its really cool that you did these two first
Nice. I'm pretty sure I saw you in line with it. I had him sign the DVD from the 'Battle Begins' set, since that was just about all I had on me at the time! Hey, dude's a motorcycle; it was bound to happen. Ha, well, no pressure, eh? These were the ones I had the most ideas for, so I fear I may have peaked early! I'm glad you folks liked the bios. Kitbashing's a fun hobby, but I write for a living. I always loved how Primal had to deal with a team full of extreme, disparate personalities, so I wanted to play that up. It ends up being a bit like the Axalon as written by Aaron Allston, which I'm oddly okay with. Tigatron and Airazor are probably my favorite characters, too. What is it the kids are calling it these days? OTP? Am I using that right? In any case, while I've always wished they could have gotten more screen time, they certainly made an impression in the time they had! As requested, here are some individual pics of the figures, back and front. As always, larger version are available here or here.
i think that wreck gar may be a better choice for primal than soundwave you may want to change him from a garbage truck maybe into a dump truck or something. IDK just a possible suggestion
I guess it's tough to see since the photos so far have been pretty much straight-on, but she actually does have the little ear-wings. This should give a better idea of what I mean: They had to be pretty tight to the sides to fit through the back of the motorcycle mode.
Go for it! I used Privateer Press' Formula P3 paints for both of them. Airazor's done in 'Bootstrap Leather' and 'Heartfire'. The lighter brown is just 'Bootstrap' mixed with some 'Morrow White'. Oh, and the lights are 'Iosan Green', while her eyes are lightened 'Arcane Blue'. It's a pretty striking mix, I think. You don't see brown or orange much outside of Beast Wars, with a few notable exceptions.
Dude, she's a robot. BW Airazor didn't have any breasts to speak of, nor did Dawn of Future's Past Airazor. Besides, if I did sculpt them on, she'd have them on the front of her vehicle mode too.
