    My friend called me knowing I love Soundwave, and dropped a message telling me there was two TFA soundwaves at my local target. With that, my plan from the days of seeing the TFA prototypes could finally come to life.

    cant wait, I think it would be cool if instead of Buzzsaw, Ratbat, you know, not a strait repaint, maybe has bro might do that for Wave 7 or 8 or something, should look great.

    upper-body progress:
    dark-blue = black
    teal = red
    chest window -> red? (currently just a piece of red paper)

    and yes, I still haven't finished Shadow Prime

    Model Master Acrylic: Gloss Black
    an old jar of Testor's Gloss Red which is causing me some troubles

    update!
    [att]11935[/att]
    I finished the front view of bot mode, and I'm still working on the back, and afterwards, I'll let it cure, then transform to SUV to see if I missed anything. Then finally, I will hit it with some future to get that animated super mega glossy look

    I forgot to thin it down before I used it, and on the first thing i painted (the red circles on either side of his head) it dried clumpy and uneven. Afterwards I added some water and it got a little better, but I think I'll just buy a new jar of red for future projects

    I was going to do almost exactly what you've done. I even bought a second Soundwave for it. Yours just reminds me how much I still need to perfect my painting before I get something that will look that good.
