Newsarama.com : Animated Shorts - Actor Lends Voice to the Joker Legacy

“The three young gargoyles were Bill Fagerbakke, Tommy Adcox and myself. Tom was Lexington. Corey Burton was also a Gargoyle, just not a main one. Bill is now Patrick on Spongebob and all of us got together again for Transformers, which sadly is not going to happen anymore. Then again, I was golfing with Frank Welker last Friday and he was Freddie on Scooby Doo 40 years ago, and he’s still doing it. I won’t be surprised if I do Johnny Bravo again when I’m 84. You never know."

However, there is a chance he's talking about
not being in anymore due to Prowl's death

Jeff Bennett does a few other voices, too, though (like Soundwave).

Nothing solid. Just a lot of speculation.

This has been discussed previously in other threads. There are hints in the show already about this.

I hope we get a season 4 under a new name.

Better put this whole thing in spoiler tags, just in case:

I really don't think this refers to Prowl's death; Jeff Bennett also voices Angry Archer, Captain Fanzone, Soundwave, Ultra Magnus and Mixmaster, and I can't see them writing out all of those characters so that Bennett can leave...

In conclusion, then, I think this is another bit of evidence for the cancellation pile. Bummer. :(

I thought that Wyatt said that the show wasn't cancelled per say, just that production's been halted for the time being with no plans to resume in the near future. Seems odd that the showrunners/whoevers in charge of TFA would give some definite information to an actor and not to the animation designer.

You know NOTHING off the business, the new Spiderman cartoon's production has haulted but they still are confident if ratings of the second season are good they will get renewed for a third season. Shows can be put on haitus and still come back, it just doesnt happen all the time.

So Hasbro isn't working on Animated.
Voice actors are saying they're not working on Animated.
And Cartoon Network has made whispers that they're not working on Animated. Let me rephrase, Cartoon Network isn't working on *NEW* Animated, they're doing post-production stuff on the final episodes of Season 3, but they've whispered that they've done nothing for a possible Season 4.

So explain to me how Animated isn't finished? Trust me, I love it more than anyone, but the writing is on the wall, Animated appears to be done and over with.

I have a Question. Why would Cartoon Network put work into a new Transformers Animated site if this is the end? Just a thought.

exactly. For all we know they're finishing up season 3 before taking a brief hiatus and then working on/worrying about season 4 (or not and just working on different shows). kind of like how south park has 2 months of production/animation and then 4 months of rest before restarting the cycle.

I'm not in denial, I'm just admiting I don't know TFAs production schedule except that just because they're not working on S4 now doesn't mean they'll never work on it. There is nothing to definitely indicate its fate either way.

It might not be canceled, Cartoon network can't seem to get their ducks in a row. Look at Venture Bros Seasons 3 and 4, they were green lit at the same time and it's been ages since 3 ended and we haven't heard a date for 4 yet. We went for two years between season 2 and 3 and was it never canceled. For all we know in 2 years we will see season 4 of TFA after it gets good ratings this season. (It'll probably take that long)

I would love to believe Animated will continue but sadly as time goes on we are seeing more info saying it won't. I can't believe that Animated will continue without Jeff Bennett. Should the news come out that Animated is just taking a break or the rumors are untrue in any way I would gladly say I'm wrong as I want Animated to be the main series for years to come. Also I'm sure Kickback probably knows a little more than he is letting on and he is saying a lot as is.

Right now I'm going to enjoy every new episode that airs in what has already been one hell of a season. I will enjoy every new toy we get assuming the ones we have seen or heard about haven't been canceled. I look forward to the DVD release of season 3. Should the series continue then that would be the best news ever. If it doesn't at least I can look back on a cartoon that died even before it hit the hight of it's potential, that is one of if not the best Transformers series ever with few episodes that were so-so or failed to entertain (1 or 2 tops), and think what a hell of a ride it was.
