Transformers: Animated DVD news: Rear Box Art for Transformers: Animated - Season 1 | TVShowsOnDVD.com

Gee, thanks for caring so much to offer some decent bonus content, Hasbro. :rolleyes2

For crying out, at least the premiere movie had a couple bonus cartoons, even if they were made mostly from recycled animation.

What a big load of suck.

I'm just waiting to find out which store will have the "Transform & Roll Out" movie as a store exclusive bonus disc thereby rendering my last month's dvd purchase an absolute waste of money.

    In 3... 2... 1.

I can see none of you collect anime dvds :p

"DVD CREDITS" WOW WHAT AN EXTRA.

"Extras" were supposed to be the hallmark of "movies-on-discs" but rarely do we get any good extras on anything. Just gimmicky online tie-ins, or some 15 minute features with the producers telling us how good the movie is to clips of the movie.

What's up with pictures from "Transform and Roll Out" on the back of the box?!
They pissed me off by taking it out and trying to get me to buy more DVDs :banghead:
If I saw this in the store and didn't know any better, I'd assume that it was in fact the complete first season

    I do. :lol

As for the TF: Animated 1st season set... that's it?! No bonus features? I'll pass.

At least I got the bonus "Transform and Roll Out, Part 1" DVD that came with the Optimus/Megs 2-pack set.

To put things into perspective, I think the reason I'm personally a bit disappointed is because I wanted interviews with the writing, animation, and acting teams about this new take on the Transformers universe. I fell in love with the show immediately, and it's a shame nothing is being done to highlight the challenges of reshaping the Transformers mythos, not to mention the opportunities the TFA team as a whole had when revamping everything (new art style, etc.).

Even so, would I still buy season 1? Hell to the frickin' yeah. In this case I'm voting with my dollars, and I want to show that I'm in full support of more TFA episodes (and by extension, more TFA toys) :D

Actually, all you got in the box set was the first episode of that three-parter, not the entire Transform and Roll Out.

I'm content with just the episodes on DVD. Special features only interest me when the come with movies. Especially movies I really like. Here's hoping that some day we can get RID on DVD.

Special features are overrated. Admittedly I'm no DVD afficionado, but I've thus far never seen a 'special feature' which was worth much more than watching once out of curiosity.
