Would've liked a season 4 of TFA...as long as we still got Prime later.

From what I've read of Season 4's plans...I'm happy it concluded where it did. And yeah I'm in the minority there and loved the show, but it ended well.

Prime may not be a show I watch anymore, but at least it keeps the franchise in mind for folks without ruining what came prior so eh...

I have seen every season 2 episode of prime so far and I am re watching animated season 2 right now.
So far I think prime is turning out like the movies. Season 1 was great but 2 is feeling a bit dissapointing.
Animated got better as it went on.
Also animated toy line was better and I would not mind an animated cyberverse series (omega supreme set!).
    So season 4 for me.

This. They made that character stand out and feel very unique in Animated, with depth and layers to his character. Prime Bulkhead...feels like a less gruff G1 Ironhide. Which isn't necessarily bad, but Ironhide is Ironhide. It's like if Starscream behaved more like G1 cartoon Shockwave. It'd be jarring to say the least.

True. At the same time people are payign more attention to Breakdown's death and the loss of his charecter development.

Plus TFA is faster pased at 13 episodes while prime is 26 episodes.

You know I never thought of that actually.

In a way Prime's almost pretty subtle with it's character development which I do enjoy. That's pretty unique and if that's the reason for the slower storyline then I'm glad that it's likely taking more of it's time to flesh out characters that way which may lead into a rewarding conclusion.

Again only an opinon of mine.

Any character, and I mean any character that dies will still have that very same reaction from the audience.

One thing I like about this show is that it really has that sense of realism when it comes to death. If someone close to you, a friend or even family, just suddenly died, wouldn't you feel there's so much about that person you didn't know and now you never will? Death happens at a blink of an eye and to anyone.

Obviously there were things about Breakdown that were left unresolved that we may never know. It's just results people have to deal with and move on.

But what I don't understand is why people keep claiming that the show is completely done with Breakdown when Nemesis Prime proved that isn't the case.

And this is all opinion, not fact.

I want to vote for Prime, but....I never watched enough of Animated to form a real opinion.

Yeah. I just get so riled when people criticize Breakdown's death as an abrupt end to his arcs. That's, uh, kind of what death is. When you're in a war, you don't expect to lie down peacefully at the end of your life, all of your personal struggles resolved. You expect to die from a random gunshot. As some have said, many who don't like Prime don't like it because it doesn't align with what they expect it to be, or, more accurately, want it to be. Because Breakdown doesn't get a heartfelt deathbed scene with Bulkhead after they've resolved their differences, they call foul and get pissed.

And anyone who says Breakdown died to make Airachnid look cool? Well, let me quote Sinnertwin by saying that's
    STRAIGHT
    ******ED

Prime has been pretty decent thus far. Animated was mostly kiddie G1 rehash garbage. Yeah, I'll take Prime.

Trust me you're not the only one who feels that way.

I didn't hate it but still if it was done in five or seven parts instead it would've been better.

Still it could mean that it'll still come into play later on in Season 2.

A couple of reasons. Like ROTF's toyline getting in the way of Animated's,or CN ebing a jerk and not letting Hasbro renew a 4th season,Bad time slots, etc.
