hey, anyone got good ideas for tfa repaints? we could use some for those rarer figures like shockwave. heres my ideas Black Shockwave = RadioShack Shockwave Rotf colors Arcee = Strike Slash Arcee Yellow Waspinator = Buzzsaw G1 Colors Prowl = City Patrol Prowl White Voyager bee = Bugbite
Those ideas are nice, particularly Bugbite, but why do you think RadioShack will let Hasbro use their brand name to sell a toy? Anyway, a couple ideas of my own: Ricochet - "Blazing" Jazz The rest of the Dinobots in "Golfire" color schemes Both a Grindor and a toy color accurate color scheme Animated Blackout The deluxe Bumblebee retooled into some of the other body types, such as Glyph and Tapout The Jet Twins repainted to look like Cloudraker and Fastlane Soundwave retooled into Blaster (or better yet, give Blaster a mold of his own) A Black or Crystal Rodimus And a Repaint of WreckGarr
I like your ideas, galvascream So far one I really want repainted is voyager Starscream as Ramjet..oh how obvious. But I think he has the best looking color scheme.. Maybe Grimlock as Overkill..it's a really different color palette
I didn't think about that before. That would be a good idea, but Hasbro is unlikely to release it unless it was called something like "Artic" Grimlock and released with Autobot symbols.
It's not like we are going to see any more repaints after the last wave of figures is released. As long as this is theoretical, though, I'll add mine: G1 colored Prowl Nemesis Minor (Black repaint of Rodimus) G1 colored Starscream
"Undercover" Sentinel Prime: Purple repaint that looks suspiciously similar to Mr. Plow from the Simpsons "Overcharged" Blitzwing: As the name implies, it's Blitzwing in a deco like that of that E-hobby Overcharge (itself using the original Diaclone colors of the G1 Blitzwing toy). "Ghost" Prowl: Okay, so he's essentialy "crystal Prowl" in that he's made from totally translucent plastic (like all crystal TF's), but wouldn't it be cool if Prowl became like those Jedi ghosts in the Star Wars movies?
Sentinel Prime repainted black into Nemesis Prime. And yes, I mean Sentinel, not Optimus. Because his character in Animated was two servos close to becoming this. Megatron in purple, deep orange and red accents (not the shadow blade colors) as Galvatron. Swoop repainted as Terrorsaur.
I like it! Sentinel makes sense because he even comes with his energy lance which can be painted red and called Nemesis' sword. Oo oo I got one. How about being repainted as Hound? Or Brawn? Both could use a new head though.
Jet twins as Dreadwind and Darkwing Ultra Magnus as Onslaught Not sure about the bot mode, but Lockdown's vehicle mode at least (without the spikes) could work as Wheeljack
