TFA Oil Slick's chain barrel question

    on the package it shows his barrel's chain to be a longer metal one as opposed to the plastic chain the one i received as an early Christmas gift.

    what id like to know was it ever released with the longer metal chain, and either way why was the metal chain dropped from the mold.

    Likely cut as either a cost savings issue or a safety issue. That is why the magic "Product may differ" line is on the bottom/back of the box.

    Pictures on the packaging are of the prototypes. They're hand-painted and detailed. Which you never see on the actual production figure.
