Nightbeat: Drawn in the style of Transformers Animated and Art Director/Lead Character Designer Derrick J. Wyatt. Like most, when I originally saw the character designs for Transformers Animated I was like, "What the F*@%K?!" But over the last three seasons, I must admit the show has grown on me. And now that it has to an end, I thought I'd like to try my hand at drawing some of my favorite characters that I would have loved to see on the show. Obviously this was done for fun, and I do not own the rights for anything Transformers (Animated or otherwise) names or logos © Hasbro Lines by Me Colors by Me Dial Up Friendly Pix: If you want to see the original drawing (not dial up friendly) click upon the attached thumbnail. Meet the new head of Cybertron Intelligence: Nightbeat Prime. After it was reveled that Longarm Prime was in fact Decepticon covert agent Shockwave, the High Council knew they needed to promote a new department head that was beyond reproach. Nightbeat was just the bot they were looking for. Nightbeat is an impressive detective who, while in command of the Autobot Police Force, proved himself to be a tough, no-nonsense bot who is not afraid to do what is necessary to catch the criminal, or solve the mystery. When Nightbeat is on the trail for clues, nothing else matters. This monomania has famously gotten him into some sticky situations. Yet in the face of adversity, he remains cool, confident, and even irreverent. He has insulted creatures many times his size and committed huge faux-pas to uncover the truth. Nightbeat is fascinated by the Earthlings mystery/suspense novels and data files. Especially those involving the fictional character Sherlock Holmes. Nightbeat will be visiting Earth very soon, but unfortunately not to study Earthling literature. Recently Sunstreaker, one of Nightbeat's top agents, went missing on Earth while on a mission. Now Nightbeat must discover what has happened to his friend and why.
