I dont know why but the images dont seem to load for me... odd

but I will say this if the UK sets are like the past transformers DVD's I half expect us to only get up to half of season 2

    Images aren't working.
I'd much rather just have a boxed set than lots of volumes with a handful of episodes (probably out of order) on each.

    Hmm, if these each have a 91 minute playtime, 91 minutes = 4 episodes, give or take. Season 1 = 13 episodes, but, 4 x 3 = 12.

Which one gets an extra episode or which one gets cut? I cannot see Megatron Rising getting split across two DVDs, so unless one of the sets gets an additional episode, I can't see us getting all the episodes in the UK. Or did Transform and Roll Out have Home is Where the Spark is included?

Hello again, overused stock art, how I've loathed your return. :)

Still manages to look better than the US Season DVDs to me, anyway.

We in Germany get the same releases. "Transform and Roll Out" came on a single DVD like in the US. The rest of the episodes comes like in the UK.
Volumes 01 became available last November and Volume 02 is already out in Germany and Austria, cause a fan I know already has Volume 02 in his collection.

    Volume One contains:
01 Megatrons Rückkehr (in english: Megatron's return) --> Home Is Where The Spark Is
02 Der Säureangriff (in english: The Acid Attack) --> Total Meltdown
03 Drachenkämpfer (in english: Dragon Warriors/Fighters) --> Blast From The Past
04 Der Kopfgeldjäger (in english: The Bountyhunter) --> Thrill Of The Hunt

    Volume Two contains:
05 Die Turbo-Düsen (in english: The Turbo Booster/Thrusters) --> Nanosec
06 Im Netz der Spinne (in english: In The Spiders Web) --> Along Came A Spider
07 Schall und Rauch (in english: Sound And Smoke) --> Sound And Fury
08 Die alten Waffen (in english: The Old Weapons) --> Lost And Found

So far, we have no release date for the german counterpart of Volume 03.
Personally I think that the "missing" episode (speaking of 3x4 --> 12) will be included as a bonus episode instead of the Animated shorts, that are advertised as bonus features.

But it might be as well possible that they release the "missing" episode (meaning "Megatron Rising - Part 2") on Volume 04, cause the episodes are sorted in Volumes and not Seasons. And it wouldn't be THAT bad. Would be a nice way to make people buy the next one. You watch "Megatron Rising - Part One" and then..... episode over, last episode on Volume 03: "DAMN!!! I NEED Volume 04!!!"

I hope this helps you guys out a little bit.
And, yeah, I am aware that the german titles are a little bit strange. :sly:

As far as Paramount Germany told me, Volume 3 Megatron Rising (or Megatrons Auferstehung as it will be namend in Germany) will include both Parts of Megatron Rising. So it'll be possible that there are 5 episode on the DVD!

Also don't take Amazon's listings for details to heart they have a tendancy to always be inaccuratre and only get fixed once the comments complain enough about it. So the run time for the last volume may well and truly have 5 episodes.

The UK Beast Machines release had six episodes on one disc and seven on the other for each series so unless the guy in charge of doing these DVDs is really stupid or just a git, I'd imagine all episodes would be included. Only a major OCDer would drop an entire episode just to have them all neat and tidy same and balanced on each disc.
Personally I'd prefer a series boxset for each since it's only thirteen episodes per series. It's not some huge series of twenty-odd forty minutes episodes we're on about. We're not living in the Dark Ages here. At the very least if we never get a series boxset I'll just wait and see if all the episodes get single disc releases and then pick them up when they've been reduced to a quid each or something.
