Wasn't it in Beastwars or something that some future generation T'fmer's take on the names of heros or villians of the past. Just like the beastwars Megatron?

 

It amazes me how many folks seem to have difficulty wrapping their brains around the whole concept that its possible for something to be based upon/heavily influenced by a previous work yet not tied to the source material in any way other that having been inspired by it.

 

I know that many are stand alone series. It can be fun to imagine some connections though. Like is the Optimus from south parks' imagination episodes the one from G1? or is he a matured version of animated ops? 

Wrap your head around that one. Didn't I just blow your mind 

 

He is so not G1 Megatron isnt this bad ass
