I saw this somewhere, when was this said? Is this canon?
They are not the same mech - period.
not at all-heck, they arent even in the same universe
Animated != G1
huh? Animated =/= G1
Animated > G1
And no, two different robots. Very similar, but very different.
A load of bull.
no i dont think so i think it is in a different continuity but a very close to G1 continuity
if hes not g1 megs then theres more then one megs thats the boss of the cons
in the ep with arcee we see megs in the g1 war talking to lockdown
Using G1 footage to illustrate TFA's "Great War" does not mean TFA's "Great War" was G1.
It does mean "Cheap Animation + Fanwanky Goodness".
It's Animated Megatron, the design is even the Animated Megatron design.
There's no G1 Megatron in Animated okay? The first episode video was just there for fanwank.
I'm not sure what the question is. Yes, this Megatron is a new adaption of G1 Megatron. No, Animated does not continue from G1.
I agree. Just cause a G1 clip was used does NOT mean that G1 and Animated exist in the same universe. So G1 Megs is not the same as Animated Megs.
Just a nod to G1. That's all it was.
go back and watch the first 3 parter then. its the same animated Megs, just in his Cybertron from. only 1 Megs in animated atm, and they show no signs of changing that number any time soon.
No. They indeed "look" quite similar, but they are different characters from an alternate continuity/universe.
G1 Megs is TFA Megs like G1 Starscream is TFA Starscream.
In that the TFA versions are actually competant beyond villains of the week.
