From BlogCritics.org, concerning the "special features" for the Transformers Animated: Transform And Roll Out DVD: This contradicts the packaging's description that "2 Transformers Animated Shorts" are included, unless the other one is perhaps an easter egg that this reviewer missed. I'm checking with TVShowsOnDVD.com to see if they ever got an update from Paramount regarding this.
TVShowsOnDVD.com's Dave Lambert said he was sent a press release from Paramount after his inquiry about the bonus shorts, but hadn't reviewed it yet. Perhaps later this week he'll post an update, if it does indeed include new info. He added, "A retailer contact recently told me that the studio info he got specifically said 'no extras.'" Anyone else besides me note that the short described in the review is strikingly similar to a scene from a Season 1 episode?
Interestng. Though that contradicts the packaging's 2 extras statement. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
There is a two and a half minute short featuring Optimus talking to a group of schoolchildren, but they are more interested in seeing him transform than whatever he has to say. Sounds funny. Reminds me of the day I went on a school trip and an artist from Marvel was there and every kid in the audience except me asked him to draw He-Man.
I think he's talking about an episode of Animated, in "Sound & Fury" all the kids gathered around him & begged him to say his catch phrase.
Yup, that would be it (knew it sounded a bit familiar). Wonder if it is kinda like an outtake from that episode.
