What I got so far. I was talking to Plowking the other day. Big Hank, I loved that head mod! Maybe I could borrow it??

I'm adding an extra set of thrusters to the rear mid section of the top, adding a second set of wings (albeit much smaller), adding the blasters to the side of the fuselage with a up down twist to go with the in out swivel, giving him bladed gauntlets, and modding the left and right sides of his torso/fuselage.

Hank, maybe we can partner up on some stuff...hmmm???

hm.. instead of glueing the wings to the ankles, why not hinge a thin piece of styrene so they swing out and up the jet, so they'll be behind the arms in robot mode? you could even add a simple swivel so that once they're up there they'd swivel and point down like the original.

I wanted the wings to be as far back as possible. I guess I'm aiming more for thee alt mode than I am the bot mode.

I think you mis-understand me man. *L* What I suggest would allow you to have the wings in the very same place you have them now, except that you could move them to the appropriate place in robot mode as well.

Ahh...like move them back and forth..that would be coo.! I didn't glue them in. i shave down those little fins that were in the back, and mouthed that peg to his wings, so they are secure...I could drill the same size holes for that pg into the sides, that might look great!!

I'll try that out tomorrow for sure.

Well heck, you're way ahead of me!! I just cut and glued the head!! Definitely feel free to use the head idea, you can probably improve on it!! :thumbs2:  As far the as the figure itself, you and I seem to be definitely on the same page!! I was gonna remove the arm blasters and incorporate the fold out thingys to make a set of pop out Energon tridents! And I just about figgered out how to make the feet kind of like hooves, 'cause I was goin' for a kind of demonic style. I was gonna use Lockdown's head with the ram horns from Oilslick, but thought it would look too Hellboyish! Kinda funny there's a Hellboy/Lockdown up now!! The main mods will be: doin' somethin' with the wings, building a crescent shaped cockpit and extending the nose without screwing up the transformation too much!! I would love to swap ideas with you, PM me!!

    *edit*(MY shameless plug :thumbs2: )

I do like where this is going - actually I was considering Screamer for a Cyke bash myself, although I'm thinking of trying to make it a bit less Animated-looking to fit in with the Classics.

I agree with Redline's hinge idea for the wings; they look good where they are in jet mode, but I don't think you want them on the legs for robot mode. The hingeing would allow you to move them up without having to resort to partsforming.

Update: Played with Redline's idea about the wings, but then I got a craw up my yaw and did this. I think i like it. It needs a good bit more sanding and shaping, but so far so good.

I'm working on the same thing right now as well. I opted to keep him wings in the original spot however but might be extending the nose section.
BTW where do you guys find this styrene at?

I get mine from Hobby Bench, my local hobby store, Shinobitron. I'm sure you have one in your neck of the woods. It's like a haven for us bashers. :thumb  They ae becoming more and more rare with the internet taing a lot of business, but I bet their's one you can hunt down.
