So, no. That's just ridiculous. Making a huge weapon stuck on the side of his arm that can't come off. Ugh....how hard is it to make these damn weapons removable?

ya know.. the gun looks to have a hinged piece... right where the cockpit is... dunno if that might have some significance.

Also, whatever happened with the preview figures we'd been hearing about? Was it ever said when we could expect them..or at least what they would be (would be real cool if the wave 1 figures we have been seeing in package were them, but I really doubt that). I'd be all over a Cybertron mode Prime and Megs two-pack with a dvd of Transform and Rollout or something.

 

The cannon can come off. He's posted pictures with it off.

Through the pictures and his extended review, every pic we've seen HAS been TF'ed right. The cockpit/cannon is one solid peice, and therefor connat be split to form a more accurate vehicle mode.

My guess, this was an early version of his Alt mode, so when it was changed for the show, because he's only shown in it in partial siloette and only for a few seconds, they didn't bother completely re-engineering the toy.

and your speaking from the perspective that you have one, tried and transformed it correctly??

i mentioned this in a thread prior and your still in denial, prove that this prototype can be transformed like the animattion.

Soooooooooo we are to believe his cannon faces backwards? or that he flies backwards to shoot?

Every other toy is so dead on in every aspect I cannot believe this single toy to have an altmode *SO CLOSE* to the show but yet so far off.

Until I see box art with written instructions I will not believe that is the correct transformation. Having the cannon pointing backwards is absurd.

 

at like 11:50 into the torrented verson it is pretty clear that the gun is on the bottom of the ship, sticking out forward,and the rounded cockpit is on top of that. The toys I've seen so far seem to have both parts mixed up in relation to each other.

Here, look at the animated model and the toy prototype. If you face the BODY forward so the parts match, the GUN points backwards as does the cockpit.



Seems to me that the cockpit can fit in the front and the cannon underneath.

I can't believe they would work so hard to make it look so similar and then not make it fit. Especially that part is a detatchable arm item.
