Optimus still has his kibble-pack I see. Pass.

I have one question about this new MP Movie Bumblebee.

Is this a new, original mold or a repaint of an existing Movie Bumblebee toy?

Holy crap, that Bumblebee looks amazing! I hate to want to own another Bee, but shit, I can't skip that. So happy it's the first movie vehicle too. My only issue with it, which is based only on these pictures, is that it doesn't seem like you can move his "wings" closer together on his back. That's really the only thing keeping it from serious movie accuracy.

I know, which is why I said I know why they did it. But with a film coming out the year of the 10th anniversary of the franchise his current form would work too.

Awesome! I wonder how big he will be compared to every other Masterpiece figure?

True. Maybe it'll be released under a different banner the rest of the world, given that the Movie Masterpiece series doesn't officially exist outside of Asia.

Looks more like a new mold than a re-used one.

Will the masterpiece movie series be a Takara exclusive line? I\'m really digging that Bumblebee.

Prime looks like shit. That's still a shocking amount of kibble this many years later. Doesn't help that the movie model no longer even looks like a transforming robot, but the toy still has to have all the truck parts.

Bumblebee looks... well... like the gerbillion versions we've already gotten before. Nothing new here.

Man, Optimus really needs to get the car wash. Somebody smeared poop all over him. Jokes aside, this isn't a bad figured(better than the Hasbro version from AOE), I have it, but it is one that much like a mullet hair style, it looks good when viewing strictly from the front.

The voyager from this upcoming line looks a lot better though. I'm still curious if there will be two leader class versions again this go around.

Wait, so they give Bumblebee an entirely new Masterpiece mold, while leaving Optimus with his lackluster AOE mold, and don't even use the improved Armoured Knight version?

    I'm out. Screw this toyline.

Well it's literally a repaint of the AOE leader. It doesn't really matter how long it's been since the last movie.

Given there's a voyager that's much better I wouldn't be surprised if there's a new improved leader too.
See above. Remember, this isn't part of the general TLK line but an Asia exclusive.

Don't go "The Sky is Falling!" just yet, the leader Optimus is described as "Asia Exclusive" so it isn't indicative of whether or not we will get a new Leader Optimus mold.

AND they said to expect another Movie Masterpiece reveal.

Of course we still don't know if the Movie Masterpieces will see distribution in North America, but hey, that's why online stores exist.

Makes sense to use a repaint for 'dead in space' prime. If they've got an all new leader class toy coming (I wouldn't bet against it) then surely you'd want it in a nice non ruined looking deco.

I dunno, Takara usually does better... Wait, hang on... Damn my racist head, Hong Kong is China, not Japan. I think the idea of Hasbro showing off a new Masterpiece is throwing me off and in my defense, I only just woke up. So this OP is just another Hasbro Asia Premium release? I guess that might mean it's not using the most up to date mold.

As for the MP line, if there will be another, cool. I'd complain that it's guaranteed to be Optimus and there should be a Megatron, but since I only like his ROTF design, chances are, it'd use a design I don't like.
