When the movie comes out, there will obviously be some kind of game to go along with it. The question is: What kind of gameplay style would you like to see the game have?
This The gameplay in DOTM was incredibly restrictive especially in Dinos level where you actually couldn't transform through 90% of his level and you were forced to drive at the beggining, Optimus's levels was restricted to a tiny space for defeating shockwave, and soundwave was restricted to "drive through this tunnel, now fiddle with the computers, now do it again 10 times". There need to be some free will in transformers games and thats why FOC looks awesome, if they were to include that principle in a transformers movie game, it would be better. But they do have limited Tom and they have to stick to the movie story in some way so it would be hard for them to create the environments to however they wanted I s'pose
Whatever the environment is for TF4, I want the game to have a wide open space that replicates that. After seeing DOTM, I always thought there was so much potential for it's game but all we got was a stupid prequel. Imagine a free roam in Chicago where you encounter tons of Decepticons as Optimus all while you're trying to get to Sentinel Prime. I want something like that for TF4 The Game. High Moon has shown us that they can make large environments with FOC and I felt so restricted in DOTM. I just hope they spend a lot of time on it to make it on par with the quality of WFC and FOC. But of course, they're probably just going to rush it like the last game.
I'm not sure having more Tom would make a difference, but okay. So far in foc, it seems like mode choice has been greatly improved over wfc and dotm. I am very glad about that.
Yeah, I was joking. I hope the game plays somewhat like the armada ps2 game. It had free roam, fun weapons/minicons, and some pretty darn cool boss fights (like tidal wave).
