Well today's the day we all can buy AOE figures. (Goes to Walmart) Holy shit! $15.00 for deluxes class?!?! Are you shitting me?!?!

 

All we have is one not very clear picture and people are already saying it is crap. Hilarious.

 

This figure looks great and capture Lockdown's look in the trailers! One of the best figures in AOE.

 

Not bad. I can dig it. Even more so if you can give him his gun-face.
Little wonky in proportions, but I can forgive that considering the CGI model has virtually no vehicle kibble, and that'd be difficult to translate into an accurate toy. Kinda like Galvatron.

 

They could have made his head flip into a little gun at least.

We are getting a Voyager Drift? I didn't know that! Yes! Anyhow lockdown needs a voyager class because this does not proportion well with optimus.

 

It was the big 'ol toy list leak we got a long time ago. Everything else on it has come to pass in recent weeks, so it stands to reason.

Lockdown looks very cool! Love most everything about his CGI design and the Deluxe appears promising (dat face gun! hope it can attach to his head somehow). Just wish Lance Henriksen was providing his big screen voice, and that the Deluxe figure had his signature hook hand (perhaps it'll include one, or a 3P company like Cubex, UFO, or FWI will make an accessory for it). Hopefully the Takara version won't disappoint on the paint apps.

Wait the RotF deluxe was hard to find? I saw him at least 5 or 6 times at my local Wal-Mart's and they never get anything in. There was also an Alco in DeWitt that had about 3 of them until a year ago.

 

Needs Spikes and and a Hook

 

Now dr.wu get on those hook and blade accessories for this guy, and throw in a visor for good measure.  

 

I'm so glad they could find a use for DOTM Roadbuster Deluxe's design.

On a serious note, why the heck is Crosshair's vehicle mode a picture of one of the simplified toys? Was it because the actual deluxe version was too ugly for catalog use?

 

I think this might be a repaint of dotm roadbuster, but with the shoulder missiles united with the shoulders, a diferent head, and a diferent mold on some parts of the chest...
