24/30 - TF4 Evolutions Grimlock 25/30 - TF4 Evolutions Dinobot Slug 26/30 - TF4 Evolutions Strafe Well that's three more for the list of 30... but a huge gap since number 11 (Construct-Bots Predaking). Probably a lot of the other store exclusive TF4 toys fill up the other spots.
We've had more since 11: 12 – Platinum Edition Year of the Horse Optimus Prime 13 – Platinum Edition Year of the Horse Starscream 14 – Age of Extinction First Edition Optimus Prime In the case of FE Prime, though, the numbering was given only in the press release Hasbro sent out about the toy, and not on the actual packaging.
Doh! I forgot about the Horse pair (and I was just looking at a list that has them listed on it). Cheers for the info about FE Optimus, as I never knew that about it. That is so dumb. They musta forgotten to label the figures. (now there's going to be a blank spot on my collage - http://www.toycollectors.com.au/transformers/2013/30th00a.jpg) I think you'll find that each of the Movie figures in the different Evolutions 2-packs have slightly different decos.
Yeah, it's kind of daft. Here's the Hasbro info giving the 14 number: Transformers-Movie-4-Optimus-Prime-Action-Figure-First-Edition Reportedly the MP Grimlock re-release doesn't have a T30 number, which seems odd considering Acid Storm and Soundwave did, but you have to wonder if, like FE Prime, he should have one but it's missing...
So, that leaves up with 15-23 and 27-29 unknown. That's 12 total, and with 3 American MP's confirmed or rumored, 2 Platinum Editions confirmed and 2 in Toys R' Us listings, and 2 other Evolution 2-Packs, that only leaves 3 Thrilling 30 figures left. There's also that Voyager Grimlock and Silver Knight Optimus from Target covered in chrome, so that could be a possibility too.
SDCC exclusives are likely candidates for getting numbers too. The new MP Grimlock, however, is showing up in stores and reportedly lacks a number (although it could be a case like FE Prime, perhaps).
What a wasted concept... with no thought put into what gets a number, and what misses out (if MP Grimlock doesn't have one). And I think after the rare/expensive HK redecos got four of the numbers, it put people off bothering to "collect them all". Since the Construct Bots Predaking got a number, it makes it possible for the rest of the numbers to be taken up by Movie exclusives, as we already know 22 different ones. (Ozformers Transformers Collectors Australia - View Single Post - 2014 Transformers Toy Checklist for Australia) I'd be thinking the BotCon boxset would be one of the 30 as well, as they are a licensed source of Hasbro exclusives too.
