you know, i have thought of that too... it definitely felt like two different scripts, or two different acts of some giant arc... like maybe ROTF was supposed to end with Prime dying, and then the 3rd movie woulda been his revival and the decepticon downfall... i just hope its a good fun movie again... but i say less robots then the 2nd, more fighting then both, and more story too...
Man, I don't even want to start thinking about the 3rd movie already. I'm a little burnt on the movie stuff right now. Hopefully the 3rd one will have more character development Transformer wise. That's all I want.

Definitely looking forward to speculation following set pictures and leaks...and the inevitable couple hundred thread pages worth of bitching when Hasbro unveils a centerpiece to the TF3 line which comes nowhere near matching fan expectation.

Nothing against the movie 1/2 designs, but I'm wondering if the bots and cons who had the same molds in the last movies will get new ones.

True - but they will likely not get my IMAX $ for TF3, nor more than 2 sittings. Though since #2 did so well money-wise even w/ crap reviews (I think it's still in the 40's on rt.com) I am not expecting "better". It's sad, but my biggest do-not-want is the *crudeness* of the language. My young son saw TF1. TF2, even though he was 2 yrs older - I regretted due to the choice-bits he decided to remember & recite back periodically. THAT may be the dealbreaker for my parents & son to see TF3 - it turned my parents off & caused problems w/ son.
No. Until more semi-official or better info comes out, WfC is looking pretty darn good to tide over til at least the end of 2010.
Spoilers don't really bug me much. Actually, they tend to get me more excited for the film. Plus, if I'm not open to hearing the movie spoilers, I won't have WTF@TFW to listen to at work.
Let the flame war begin! I hope this movie will be better than ROTF. The movie was good until prime died, and then caught explosive diarrhea. Here's hoping for a good script!
