It was a deliciously random series. The Quintessons came out of nowhere right in the middle of the '86 movie. Plot devices -- the Matrix is the biggest one of all! -- coming at you and trying to be reconciled with all that's gone before. Just...random! That's what I want for TF3: MORE RANDOM! (This is not how I thought my 900th post would go. Lol.)
O.K here goes... Megatron wants to have the power of Energon for himself and finds The Fallen's Archives. Unable to fully understand the incredibly complex nature of Energon he summons Shockwave to Mars to take charge of the project. Shockwave quickly ascertains that they can harvest the sun from Mars, free from Autobot and human interference and discovers that the Fallen had already tried this once millions of years ago when he discovers the remains of Pyramids in the Martian region of Cydonia. There Shockwave also discovers the remains of a very ancient temple under what looks like a face of some long forgotten god (The face on Mars). Shockwave discovers records of an ancient evil God. It goes by many names. Satan, Angra Manyu, The Devil but the Fallen knew him as Unicron. Unicron is trapped in another dimension and it will require the collapse of a particular star to free him. This is truly why The Fallen wanted to use the harvester on this sun. The Primes hid the matrix from him, knowing it was all he needed to activate the harvesters power and bring Unicron back into this dimension and secure ultimate power for himself as reward. Shockwave decides to keep this knowledge from Megatron. Hoping that he can complete The Fallens work and gain the power for himself. Little does he know that Unicrons influence is rife in this temple and he is already being bent to his will as The Fallen did so long ago. Shockwave orders the Constructicons (who with reinforcements from Cybertron now number in the 20's) to strip the pyramids away and finish work on the harvester machine. He then informs Megatron that the Matrix has to be aquired before the machine can be used and that means capturing the Human who carries it. Soundwave once again begins the task of locating Sam Witwicky. But initially has great trouble finding him. Meanwhile on Earth, Optimus rightly guesses that Sam is always going to be in danger and a target for the Decepticons. He decides to hide him on an Island in the Pacific ocean away from everything except Bumblebee, his family and Mikaela, who join him there and assume different names. Sam is initially depressed about being shut off from society but is reminded of his responsibilties and accepts his fate. Ultra Magnus makes contact with Prime at last after years of trying to locate Prime and has brought his commando unit, the Wreckers, with him. They are Springer, Blaster (communications), Mirage (sniper), Sunstreaker, Hound (scout), Brawn and Warpath. Blaster tells Prime that Soundwave is in orbit scanning but Blaster is jamming him for the time being. Blaster has also been picking up Decepticon transmissions from Mars and there seems to be an operation building and lots of Decepticon activity in the hundreds. Prime is concerned that his forces are too weak to repel a major attack and asks Magnus to return to space to find reinforcements. Magnus says he left the Battleship Maximus, the last remaining autobot ship on the far side of the moon and returns to it via the shuttle he landed in. Soon after he is on his way to search for any autobots scattered throughout the cosmos. It isnt long before the long range sensors pick up the telltale signals of Autobot distress calls. Meanwhile aboard the Nemesis, Megatron is forming his army. Many have come from Cybertron including his finest hunter, Scourge. He contacts Soundwave for sign of Sams whereabouts but Soundwave says he has been jammed. And suspects the Autobots have been reinforced. Megatron grows angry and orders his troops to Earth. They'll tear every rock from the ground and scorch the earth if he doesnt reveal himself. Soundwave relays this message to Earth for the humans to see and Sam begs Optimus to let him give Meagtron what he wants. He cant handle the thought of millions dying on his account. Prime refuses saying that many more would die if Megatron gets the power of the matrix. They need only hold out until help arrives. Until then, keep low and dont reveal yourself. The entire armies of Earth are mobilised to face the incoming threat and the Autobots, strengthened with the newly arrived additions of Inferno, Prowl, Powerglide and Perceptor prepare to resist any attack. The US Navy take up defences around the Island where Sam is hiding thinking their new Rail armed ships can protect it but Soundwave analyses the strategy and determines that this is where the matrix is. Scourge attacks the island hunting for Sam whilst Starscream and his seekers attemp to to draw off and destroy the human ships. Which they begin doing all to well. Prime and a force of Autobots arrive to a scene of utter chaos as wrecked ships lie everywhere. The Decepticon numbers are too great but its not yet too late. He quickly gets to work despatching Decepticons and faces off to Scourge who has Sam at his mercy. With orders to take Sam alive, Scourge has no choice but to get rid of Prime first but Prime overcomes him. Then a comet splashes into the ocean amongst the fleet, sending a massive wave spreading outwards and heading toward the shore. A badly wounded Bumblebee takes Sam to high ground just in time but the comet was none other than a massive protoform and from the Depths emerges a Decepticon of unbelievable size. Tidal Wave. His weaponry devastates the defenders and they have no choice but to fall back. Prime is badly wounded and Ironhide lies dead at his side along with several others. Bumblebee begs Sam to run into the Jungle but its too late. Starscream has caught up with him and placing him into his chest cockpit, transforms and blast off into the sky with Sam banging on the glass in futility. More later....
O.K next... The Decepticons, satisfied that their mission is accomplished retreat with more NEST and Autobot forces arriving but there is little to stop Tidal Wave escaping in carrier form and his vast form disappears over the horizon as more human bombers perform useless hit and run attacks on him and his escorts. Ratchet cannot save Powerglide and Bumblebee is distraught until Ratchet shuts him down to heal. Mikaela is airlifted to hospital with injuries. Prowl and a badly scarred Optimus Prime consult, overlooking a beach littered with wreckage. Prime says he has failed but cannot not afford to wait to mount a rescue attempt. He must go alone as his power up mode is the only autobot capable of reaching Mars. Prowl protests and insists that it would be suicide and fruitless. He must rest and gather his strength. Give Magnus a little more time. Meanwhile in deep space The Battleship Maximus emerges from a wormhole close to a barren looking planet. This is the source of a distress signal launched thousands of years ago. Hound and Mirage go to the surface to recon and infiltrate a massive structure to find an arena packed with strange looking alien creatures. Inside the arena are 6 massive robotic monsters chained up and being used for judicial sport. Hound relays the images back to the ship and Magnus recognises them. They matched descriptions of Grimlock, Sludge, Slag, Swoop, Snarl and Slicer. A specialist combat unit from the first battles on Cybertron. Magnus leads the Wreckers in a raid and they free the enraged and tormented beasts that have assumed the form of native huge lizard like creatures. The massive autobots destroy the facility before returning to the Maximus and agreeing to go to Earth. More later...
TF1 was about battling over the allspark which could create, repair and was also a power source. TF2 is about battling over scraps of the allspark similar to the Animated series. We also get to meet the Judas character the Fallen. TF3 can be about looking for the Adam character named Primus. The serpent character is Unicron. Maybe both Primus and Unicron are hiding somewhere on earth.
In TF2, we have a plot about scraps of the AllSpark and the revival of the Fallen to help the Decepticons. In TF3, maybe the Autobots will contact the other 12 Primes and Primus for help against the Decepticons who are getting the help of Unicron. I would also like to see more G1 characters : All the seekers like Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, etc. Soundwave and laserbeak Shockwave as a tank or attack helicopter. Rumble as a vehicle with piledrivers. Reflector as 3 robots who form 1 stealth jet. Dinobots vs Insecticons. Superion vs Menasor For TF4, I would like to see the later guys like Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Springer, Galvatron as a separate character from Megatron, etc. For TF5, maybe we can use the beast characters from beast wars and beast machines. TF6 will be the final battle.
After Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave head to the Nemis, two of Megatrons generals, named Shockwave and Buldgeon, head to earth to defeat Optimus. Shockwave rebuilds Devastator, and calls a nother team to Earth, the Stunticons. The Auotbots require help, so new characters show up: Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Hound, Wheeljack, and the Protectobots. Ends with a cliffhanger were the Auotbots are heading to Shoickwave and Buldgeon's base on the moon.
Megatron uses the protoforms to create more G1 inspired decepticons. Autobots get new members. They fight. The power of love prevails. credits roll.
Damn, Lurkertron, you have alot of talent with thinking up that story! Either that or you have WAY too much time on your hands. lol
Ok, here's a little idea. Shockwave comes to Earth and retains his G1 comic personality and appearence. He transformers into a cybertronian Cannon, which is REALLY big. He brings several other cons such as Thundercracker, Skywarp, A barricade duplicate called Road block with his partner Rumble, Tidal Wave, The Stunticons and more. Optimus is able to contact a group of Autobots containing, Sunstreaker, Bluestreak, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Cosmos, Blades, and more. They all arrive on Earth and the final battle takes place on an Island on hawaii. Starscream, Megatron and Shockwave all battle it out for leader ship. One is killed in the fight, the other flees. The remaining one claims leader ship but is killed by Prime. It's like the 86 movie, there are quite a few deaths. ...But that's just an Idea.
The comic version of Shockwave could be very cool. Come here, take Megatron out, and wipe out the autobots, keeping Prime alive to create an army with his Matrix. Only one lone autobot survives (like Ratchet) to build the dinobots and take on Shockwave.
