    Hey all,

Does anyone find it strange that the TF3 movie is based mainly in Chicago
and not all around the world like Egypt and Japan like the first two movies
(oh and sorry forgot Iran/Iraq supposedly),why do you think Bay is
concentrating mostly there.I wish he would.Almost forgot but from the looks
of leaked vids and pics I haven't seen hardly any military people or vehicles
for that matter except Lennox and Epps some. Do you think this movie is gonna
be more about the robots than humans,I sure hope like hell so.Let me know
    what yall think about this.

At this point, who knows, but with this being a Bay movie there's little chance that there won't be at least two or three "America, F--- YEAH!" moments.

To be honest, the military characters are the only humans I kind of like in the films.

I think the OP is rather hoping for less human involvement than complaining about lack of military. And I agree, the more the Autobots do instead the better.

Ha ha the way the military has been used so far in the films in the back of my mind I keep hearing the song from Team America: World Police.

Just because we've mostly just seen filming in Chicago so far doesn't mean that's the only place the film is going. Last film we saw cities stand in for other cities so Chicago might have some stand in locations for other places. There is also the Russian filming to go as one of the field trips for the shooting. Even in the US there is shooting in DC and the Space Center to go so I'm sure there will be plenty of locations in the film.

Back on topic, it's possible the military has been crippled... they rely on communication and satellite surveillance, if Soundwave and Shockwave take those out, it would make the military pretty much useless.

Didn't that happen already in the first two films though? But there was always some kind of Morse Code/short wave radios/etc to get around it and call in the big guns.

The finale is in Chicago, not the whole movie, dude. It takes a long time to film just 20 minutes of footage.

What they need to do is not give so much air time to the USA military and give the robots more airtime. Ratchet had only a couple of lines, Ironhide only had a few, etc. In TF2, I was like WTH? The armed forces received more air time than the robots. The movie is titled "Transformers" not "The United States Military". It seems like they're making the Autobots look weak without the help of the armed forces and that OP is the only the strongest one. Hopefully, TF3 will be different. I pray that is will be.

Who knows, man. It's way to early to tell anything, for certain.

    I agree.

IN TF2 I really missed the robot-on-robot conflict we had from the first movie. Prime took on The Fallen and Megatron, but the military destroyed the whole rest of the Decepticon attack force, with the Autobots just helping them from behind cover. It would have been so cool to see the Arcee bikes, Ironhide, Sideswipe, and even JOLT have some close quarters fights with Decepticons to actual show what they can do.
