With Starscream leading forces for at least part of the movie, expect quite a few more lines out of him.

Sounds awesome! And with Starscream being a leader in ROTF then we should be getting a leader class figure out of him this time! *crosses figures*

So the paths of each group its pretty much like the first movie, right? Military on one side, Sam/Mikaela for other and by the end all together?
Its nice to know a bit more about the actors, cool interview.

    Hmmmmm...a human anti-Transformer task force?

It could be cool to see...but I'm still not down for Transformers being killed by humans. The heroes are the Autobots.

^^ True, but Blackout being shot in the junk by Lennox was comedy gold.

Surprisingly, not a bad read, especially for an Mtv article. That actor seems like a pretty cool guy.

Uh, it says right there in the interview that the humans are working WITH the Autobots.

Personally, I took the article as saying that the "multi-national task force" now knows about the autobots, and is now working with them. I believe that as they explained it the autobots were with Mikaela and Sam, and that in this scene, it was solely the "special forces" in this scene battling the decepticon. But maybe they do have at least one autobot out there in the batte, I don't know this is just my take on the scene explained.

On a different note, I see peoples concern about the movie being more about the human vs robot dynamic and less robot vs robot. As a long time transformers fan, I myself want less human-robot interaction and more robot vs robot because thats what has always made transformers special to me as well. I was happy that we were at least getting a Transformers movie with the first, and I still love the movie....but as a transformers fan first...there are things that I think should be changed and the majority of the fight scenes having to have humans involved is one of them. With all the money they made on the first, it's time to cater to the original fans a little bit more.

It will be interesting to see what transpires with this scene.

See, what I about TF was the relationship between the humans and the Transformers. I like to see the humans and Transformers interacting and chatting it up.

I would particularly like to see the old soldier of Ironhide interact with Lennox's team.

Yeah, and that's why I'm hoping Ironhide interacts with his fellow soldiers, human or otherwise.

    I know.

Just as they were working WITH the Autobots last movie. And killing Decepticons too...they even got one of them by themselves...

What I was lamenting was now there might be more of the same.

Heyyyy look on the bright side, he says he read the comics as a kid, ANNNNND He's British!:peoples:

That means he grew up on Furman's stuff and not some of the less that memorable Marvel and 'toon material.

If he is "optimistic", "Can we do any less?"
