Unfortunately, he's not. According to his post on the blog, he says he's on vacation during that time. :lol

So, the logo is an Autobot symbol and a number 2? Meh. I would have preferred the usual "TRANSFORMERS 2".

since that is the logo on the lanyards of everyone that's (authorized to be) on set... i'd say yes.

    That logo = lame, IMO

EDIT: But I could care less about the logo...just can't wait to see how many bots we get in this sequel.

I doubt the logo will actually be used for the movie promotion. Didn't the concept art and shooting signs all come with an older version of the TF logo? The one still used by TFW for frontpage stuff?

Not impressed with the logo. But, it may just be an early design they're using for the letterhead. Hopefully, we'll get something cooler on the eventual poster and official merchandise.

And it's just one of the logos, likely. The first movie had several logos, some abbreviating Transformers as TF, others spelling out the whole word. This one seems to be one of the shorthand ones.

I doubt that is a final logo, because productions often using working, tempoary logos on official documentation (call sheets, scripts) if the graphics department haven't yet completed a logo yet, or if they haven't even begun designing one yet.

For something Trek nerds might recall, the call sheets and scripts for Deep Space Nine's "The Emissary" (and some early episodes) had a temp logo using TNG's font.

what BS, I thought this would be some sort of Rise of the Decepticons, and a con symbol + #2 would be more fitting. Who know what bay is smoking?

At least we know how the official "2" number will look like.
Overall, the logo (I hope) is nothing more than a simple "stamp" for paper, documents, concept artwork, etc... The real logo should look better (hopefully).

I'm sure the logo will not solely be that.
