I can see that. If anything, for me:

Bots: Ironhide and Ratchet

Cons: Sideways and Seeker

 

What is was told by the Activision guy @ BotCon was: ?? & PS2 = same game. PS3/360/PC = same game. BUT, PS3 & 360 will have d/l content - PC will not.

Gameplay will be diff between versions, as will be unlockables. Other than that, he said he couldn't give specifics (# of unlockables, who, etc).

Given this + a few other games + various BR content.... looks like Sony will be getting my money sooner than later.

 

Yeah I'm sticking to factions. Autobot for life, lol. I wonder if we're going to have clans. Did anyone notice during the Cons war room when picking Screamer there was skin option? I wonder how many skins the characters will have.

 

Will most of you guys be doing multiplayer on the 360 version then?

 

Nope, not me. I will be on the PS3 multiplayer. I will not play the game until I see the movie, and even then I am thinking I may want to start out playing the campaign before jumping into multiplayer. Or not. I don't know. I do not want to be too novice at playing multiplayer early, yet I do not want to get destroyed by everyone who is good at multiplayer either. My ID will be the same as my username here, Janeails22x, if anyone wants to join up and play when it comes about.

I will most likey be apart of the Decepts in Multiplayer, but Autobot in Campaign. Hard to say though. Either way, SUPER excited for the game!

 

PS3 here. I hear you level up your guys during storymode and they carry over to Multiplayer.

 

I will definately be buying this for my x-box 360. The only way I would purchase this for my ps3, is if PSN gets some exclusive content. X-box live is a far superior online experience compared to PSN, although you have to pay for it as opposed to how PSN is free. But it shows that it is a free service, because it is not anywhere near the quality of Live.

For example, I originally bought GTAIV for ps3 and then ended up trading it out for the X-box version. The x-box version just played so much better when it came to online. Bullets actually killed people in less than a clip and a half. I'm guessing this game will do the same, but we'll see.

 

As long as Grindor has a Blackout skin, I'll be happy.

I wonder how long it will take to release the DLC? Hopefully during the summer or sooner than that would be good to.

 

The controls were great when I played the 360 version at botcon. Myself and loads of other people were picking it right up and gunning down the other teams right away.

 

According to the creators it is still free roaming but the time limit cuts down people getting too far in the game.

 

The time limit is only for those who want to obtain a better score to unlock more stuff. So you could free roam but won't unlock any goodies due to a poor time.

 

Man! when is this game released? I just hope the PS2 version is as good as that one.

If you're picking up the PS3 version, then I guess we'll have at it, then. I'm going to play as Decepticons as much as possible (and playing through their campaign first), DECEPTICONS FOREVER!

Oh, and to anyone who may team up with me on PSN-- I CALL LONG HAUL! Yup, I just called dibs earliest. I loves playing as the bruisers.

Looks like a lot of fun. The mechanics seemed good, so I doubt controls are nearly as bad as the first game. Transformign has been improved. Looks like they really put some effort into it this time around.

 

I challenge Beastbot lol.

it would be pretty ridiculous to have online multiplayer and not be headset enabled  

that said, i think itd be fun to set up some little tournaments or something
