He looks really spiky and pointy. Really fits into the movie decepticon cast. I think if you tried a Soundwave he'd look really good! But Jetfire looks really awesome. Keep up the good work!:thumbs2:
Oh wow, those head/battle mask designs ROCK.

Fantastic design. I can even see old G1 Jetfire's design elements in your own design, which is neat! :thumb

Thanks! :D  I tried to sneak as many Macross references in as I could (for example: The glowing shoulder things), while combing it with aspects of the Classics version (for example: the thrusters on the shoulders).

    Pretty sweet.
I have a question: Do you usually just picture the whole drawing in your head, or you just keep fleshing out the drawing, adding details until you're over?
Either way you're pretty good at what you do.

Sweet. Awesome design. I hope when someone leaks out the designs, it will be close to this.

Sometimes I do the first, but most of the time the second. Start out with a simple sketch, then just keep adding things, redrawing certain bits....Usually I also do a LOT of post-editing in photoshop, mix and matching bits of various drawings.

I think Jetfire is going to be only a placeholder, I actually believe he is going to turn out to be soundwave.

That's awesome. If we do get Jetfire in the sequel, I'm actually hoping that the toy version of him gets a G1 repaint, kinda like some of the one's from the first movie.

I like that. I had some reservations when I saw the thumbnail, but after opening it.. wow.

He's pretty awesome as a dark character.

I like the version with the white details best. It keeps the design more visually interesting than the almost solid black of your first color scheme, homages his G1 form better, and helps bring out all the awesome detailing. Great job!

I'm not sure about him actually being Soundwave but the name Jetfire could be a placeholder.
