TF1: What Should the Official Unofficial Subtitle for TF1 Be?

    I personally think that it doesn't need a subtitle. The first Star Wars movie didn't have a sub-title, so I don't really see a need for this movie to have one.

    i dont think it needs one, but i can see it happening.
    My vote goes to Split Lip, with Transformers: Robots in Disguise. I also like Primw Directive.

    but Transformers: :bay  is my favorite

    Well, the term was around LONG before RiD, so that shouldn;t even be an issue. It was a fact about the toys (not to mention a lyric in the G1 cartoon song) prior to being a particular toy line. Anyway, I like it...

    I think he's saying, it didn't at first (in 1977, there WAS no "epidode IV" or "A New Hope"), and STILL doesn't need one.... I think.

    I was referring to when it was originally released. I personally think that even now it doesn't need a subtitle. The only reason, imo, that it has the subtitle A New Hope, is because there are too many people who would get confused if someone else started talking about their favorite Star Wars movie withought the person saying which one it was.

    It'd be nice, but the sheer general-ness of it will probably prevent it from being used. The term "Prime Directive" has been used on anything from RoboCop to TMNT... I think I'd actually cringe if it were now used for TF, especially considering the "take me out of the movie universe due to the play on words involving OP's name" factor.

    To bad a DVD already exists called that. But Transfromers:The Begining would work just as well IMO.
