Why he looks more show accurate in the first pics, then later his color gets lighter? Camera's flash?
It could well be lighting, yes. I've found from experience that sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the colours in a picture are never quite how they look in real life.
Great gallery. I love the pics of the big guy kneeling before Megatron.
And Sol Fury ... your sig mocks me. J/K
Cool. I have a feeling that Lugnut will be one of my favorite toys from the Animated line. I still think that he has light piping in his eye. I personally don't count the other 4 red circles to be actual eyes, but more along the lines of motion sensors or something.
first, i had heard he was like a modern WWII bomber in style, so my attention was caught.
these pics are looking good- may break down and put him up there on the list next to Grimmy.
they keep this up, my hypocrisy will know no bounds....
(i had said, no animated figs...but with grimmy...this is slippery slope.)
Yeah, it IS light piping. It's just so dark it doesn't really work.
I wasn't thrilled at first with Lugnut because of his lack of height, but he is really starting to grow on me. The show accurate appearance and great poseability is very cool. I do believe I will be getting him when he hits retail.
i want my lugnut dammit he is a awesome figure
Quite nice. I like this guy a lot.
Although, it seems as if the poor guy can't look around. His head looks pretty immobile.
Pretty cool, but I'm still on the fence about this one.
That's why he got eyes on the sides of his head.
he reminds me of the 1-2-3 transformers for little kids. those things kicked ass...
I'm liking the saturated teal more. Looks better than the greyish teal in the earlier prototypes IMO. Will get this for sure.
this guy doesnt know how to take toy pictures. stupid blurry bits. just move further away from the subject/adjust depth of field.
Is this final product color? looks so G2-ish!
old proto had more show-accurate color than this...
Uhh... no Peaugh's proto is more like grey than teal, and all official art shows that Lugnut is clearly teal.
Well, to be fair, mine IS teal, it's just a lighter teal. It's about the same color as this shot:
The flash from my camera washes it out a bit.
