Has anyone read this? My local bookstore has it and I was thinking of picking it up. Ive never read TF comics before. Are they any good? I know for G I Joe....most people consider the comics as cannon as opposed to the carrtoon. Is it the same way with Transformers?

It's a fun read, if its pretty cheap I'd pick it up. It followed its own canon which is more or less placed after 2nd season but before the movie. If you liked the cartoon then you would like it.
EDIT: I totally read that as DW instead of IDW -_-'

Which one is this? The reprint of Dreamwave's V1? Or IDW's "Ultimate Collection" V1...?

In any case, TF comics are usually pretty fun.

Regarding them as "canon", an awful lot of fans - particularly in the UK - tend to see the Marvel continuity from the 1980s as superior to the cartoon in just about every way!
