hey guys, anybody got this yet? i picked this up when i picked up that machine robo book for the gobot pics. would take some sample pages but currently busy, but i thought i'd give a heads up.

anyways, it basically contains larger versions of the art from the generations book, a couple new ones that werent in generation and buncha stuff in japanese i cant understand. its priced the same as generations, strictly for the completist/art dudes, nevertheless a worthy addition to the selection of TF tomes.

The book was out in Japan on the 4th. Nice artworks indeed. I like the SD illustrations :lol
I might try transration one of the interviews. Maybe.

KA, which page is the artist's work on?

    he does various.

but easiest way to spot him is that he did the cover (the actual cover, not the jacket) of the generations book as i mentioned.

    Sorry, I haven't seen it :(

I hoped you could point a certain page on the visualworks book with his art on so that I could read the credit :)  He's not there?

Edit; For those who want the book, I suggest a group buy among the US members from amazon jp. You can save tons on the shipping.

Right, his name's Shin Matsuo and he did TV Magazine illustration during the 80s. He also did tons of anime work, including Gundam ZZ and Machine Robo.

    :lol  Full diapers indeed.

    WANT.

I'd be in if we really want to get this going. I love my "Generations" book. I could use this as well.

If I was in the US I'd organise the group buy, but unfortunately I am in Australia.

amazon jp sells the book for about 3000yen, but charges another 3000yen to ship it outside Japan. So if you buy just one it's not much cheaper than that eBay price. (Probably ends up about the same if you consider the international credit card charge)

BUT they only charge 300yen shipping for each additional item, so more you buy, more you save.

If anyone wants to organise it I am more than happy to help navigate the site, though the site can be viewed in English as well :)
