Recently I began collecting the figures from both the Universe line as well as the more recent Generations line. After searching for prowl, I found that his figure collects quite a fair price from some, but not so much from others.

Does anyone know what the current value of the figure is, MOC? Thx.

Since the Universe line ended, I can expect this fella fetching 20 bucks to 40 dollars. $35 is the most I'd pay if I were you unless the figure is a priority to you.

Be aware that this figure has a sticky paint problem with the deco on the doors. I can't remember if that was ever fixed with the later releases of this figure, but just a heads up so you know.

I,ve seen it for as much as 70.00 USD, but there's no way I'm paying that. 25-35 is my limit. I've also seen Sunstreaker as well as several others way up there in price.

Which amuses me to no end since the first 3 waves of Universe were EXTREMELY plentiful back in the fall of 2008. Some of these figures are costing MORE than stuff from Beat Wars and Beast Machines, which are almost two-three times older

Patience, research (asking here, watching ebay), and persistence will get you Prowl.

Just like Prowl would want it!

Looking at ebay auctions completed, I'd say $20-40 is about right.

I saw Prowl at a Rite Aid pharmacy a couple months ago. Check there. Also the Junkion Exchange is good place to check.

One of the best damn post all month.

I hate this acronym because people use it as opinion. But... QFT

As for Prowl. I would say the going Price would be $25-40 MOSC.

I know it's the same mold but I like Smokescreen better.

I'd say $40 - $45 should be your upper range.

It also doesn't reflect price very well. I see a bunch of A/E/C stuff selling for more than say RID figures. Kind of strange to me because I think the main characters toys of RID are pretty good.

It's the old saying goes. Supply and demand. There's a lot of new collectors or collectors returning after DOTM and they're catching up of stuff they missed the last few years. :)

Yes, but that would mean RID was in huge supply? Kind of strange that they have such a large diff (RID Prime goes for about half of what Cybertron Prime does).

I agree with you on that. But that's how finkle this hobby is. You can get an Omega prime for a lot less than a Cybertron Prime. And IMHO you get two toys that's a lot more fun than the one.

Yes so true. Back to classics though, they really have some crazy prices, for something so recent. Just wonder when Hasbro will make some new iterations, cuz that's the only way prices will go down.

I could be wrong, but I think Peaugh said they had it fixed by Silverstreak's release?

I'v bought my prowl way back in retail and he has no signs of sticky paint at all and I have messed with him A LOT. If you buy him loose of ebay you could ask the seller about the paint. (first post :D  )
