rotf which includes hftd, besides the fact that it has many bb repaints and variation,it gave us some good toys such as rotf leader prime,2009 camaro bee, hftd voyager prime, leader starscream, battleblades bumblebee, sidearmsideswipe and deluxe ironhide.

I'm going to have to say ROTF and HFTD being the best of the toy lines for sure.

Revenge of the Fallen, by a considerable margin.

If you include the HTFD Line in the ROTF line. Then it's Revenge of the Fallen for sure.

ROTF had a greater variety, as others have also attested to. DOTM was sloppily done, had too many BB repaints, and failed to bring us the two most important characters of the film: Wheeljack and Mirage.

Wheeljack being an Asian only release, and Mirage not being released at all.

ROTF man, but TF07 had a fair line too. We got a leader toy, that had roughly two minutes of screentime.

We didn't even get a leader in DOTM that had 30 minutes of screentime. I still think we should've gotten a leader shockwave.

I totally agree with you there, and don't forget Soundwave as well being brought to the US. Yes too many dang BB repaints and different variants as well. They should have made the line more solid with every character made right from the bat.
It's a land slide ROTF indefinite! More characters.

RotF by far. No hindering line-wide gimmicks and a wonderfully vast variety of alt modes (toaster, biplane, stealth boat, & forklift > cars, cars, cars, & trucks). Transformation got carried a way a bit, though it did capture the movie's complexity. Most of my TFs are from the RotF-HftD era.

TF07 was also pretty fun, though not as refined as RotF. Still had a great variety of alts: mine protected vehicles, video game controllers, and tow-trucks is a pretty nice range.

While I definitely agree that RotF is the best line, and DotM was poorly handled in addition to not having as many quality molds... Wheeljack and Mirage aren't even important characters, let alone THE two most important characters. Mirage was a complete non-entity and Wheeljack at least played a role, but so much less important than even, say, Laserbeak or even Soundwave. The Wreckers collectively were more important, but individually they were pretty much non-entities.

Well since DOTM was cut short and 2007 had those horrible Lens faces, Id say ROTF

True man, everything was wrong with the DOTM line. I'm fine with the ROTF Leader Megs, but man, we needed a Shockwave.
