That's a surprise! I'd have thought Hasbro would insist on that kind of thing being 'accurate' before the book made it out.
I'm assuming they made the changes after the book was well into being published. Either way, I don't care. If the movie has improvements to the script as apposed to the leaked one and the book, good.
Great! I have to go buy the book...put it on the shelf and be tempted to not read it until after I see the movie. Sure I could not buy the book until AFTER the movie...but where's the fun in that?
I'm about halfway through as well. The ending matches up with the script perfectly. The novel's great so far. I posted some spoilers/interesting finds over at the Superhero Hype boards. the novel is based off the leaked script. the leaked script mentions hardly any action at all. Most of the stuff you see in the trailers and TV spots, is not in the script. like the part where bonecrusher smashes through the bus. it doesn't mention that at all
We know there's going to be lots of action, whats the fun in no fighting? This is transformers, the movie's about a war between two factions who's name is the title of the movie, there has to be a lot of screen time.
