    Sweet.

Good thing they went with Evac instead of just using Bumblebee, I'd hate to see people making out on the hood of each car.

Purdy cool. That allspark shard is comically huge, but still cool :)

On a side note Universal Orlando just announced the it will permanently close JAWS on Jan. 1 to make a way for a BIG new attraction.

I have a BIG feeling they are making for Transformers The Ride - Orlando

I can't get excited about it, I guess Hogwarts reached levels of perfect movie adaptation that I don't believe this will match.

Haven't made it to Hogwarts yet, hope to make it early next year. We decided to keep our Disney passes and let the Universal passes expire!!

We did it after Botcon last year, it had only been open a week or so and was packed. It was a 2 hour line for the main ride but the lines where so well designed I actually felt cheated when they began to speed up as I was missing loads of stuff.

Botcon has served us well the last two year, we got on the new Star Tours this year before the con.

It won't be TF: The Ride. The footprint of TF is a fraction of the size of the Jaws ride. They would have to build a new land to fill in the rest of the space and with a rumored Phase II expansion of Harry Potter, that won't work. TF The Ride logistically WILL NOT work in Orlando.

However, what is planned in Jaws spot will be spectacular.

Its Orlando it will work. Plus, Jaw is in Universal Studios and Harry Potter is at Islands of Adventure. Word had it that they would eventually bring TF the ride to Orlando. With JAWS closing and the Amity themed town it sits in gone as well. They can very easily make a new futuristic section to the park.

They could, but there are two factors that lead me to believe that wont.

    1. That would be a huge investment, and Universal is already working on a major expansion for Wizarding World, which is going to be announced around the same time they announce the Harry Potter park for Hollywood. They would never work on multiple massive park expansions at the same time.

    2. The exact ride system already exists next door. So not only are you wasting perfectly good real estate for something that can be placed where the Spider-Man ride is. But you have two of the exact sa,e ride systems which is a huge turn off to guests.

The ride is a Universal Studios exclusive due to the fact Universal Creative owns the patent to the advanced ride system. Unless they start building Universal Studios theme parks all over the country, the only way to ride this is in Hollywood.

Universal recently confirmed in an interview that Orlando is NOT getting Transformers, because it's too similar to Spider-Man. I've ridden Spider-Man, and by looking at the new pics and videos of TF it's pretty much the same type of ride, even the ride cars are exactly the same.
