Check if there are lighting pre-sets in your camera, such as tungsten or fluorescent to help with the warm tones. Once you get to a setting that looks true, see if your camera shows the settings so you can tweak them manually. Then, if you have image editing software (if you don't download Gimp for free) use the "Levels" adjustment to get the white balance right.

If you are using Android then use Firefox and check the "desktop site" option in the menu. If you want to use the built in browser type about:debug in the address bar, you will then get an option for desktop site in the menu when you go to photobucket.

Hey guys... finally got a new light tent, some back grounds and the new camera all setup. I am my own worst critic when it comes to things. So I will post some pics. Please be critical if needed, I won't be offended.

The problems I am having with this new setup is getting everything in focus. I am thinking I may need to use a tripod, cause when I am far from the subject it just doesn't stay sharp.

Also, do you guys shoot in Macro mode. With the old camera I use to shoot in Macro, not sure if I should do that in the new.

Also, I am not sure if these issues are because of the black background and how it swallows the light, making it harder for the camera to focus.

Last thing. Black backgrounds are a bitch to keep clean, especially with a dog in the house.

 

Those are great!!! Your lighting looks fantastic in those pics!!! Also, i dont use macro mode and i have to use a tripod due to shaky hands.

 

I think I kinda figured out what is happening. On my 23 inch monitor, the blurriness is easily seen, when the image is shrunken down, the picture comes more in focus and looks better.

I swear, I was wrestling with this stuff for a while today.

 

^yeah black background is difficult without a tripod. I don't use one and that's why I usually stick with bright background. The pics turn out way too blurry to my liking while I get good result with macro mode sometimes, it has to be a close up.

I don't think I've seen the TakTom release of jet twins. Nice! Their combining mode is the same as some Braves like Ultra Raker and the Ryujins, but I always had trouble keeping mine together...Safeguard always looked a bit cracked

wife got me a nice telephoto lens for xmas so I will be taking some fun shots with that as soon as I get my lightbox setup at a decent distance.

Those look fantastic! A tripod is always a good idea though, with a timer or a remote trigger it will eliminate and camera motion blur.
