I want to see the Monsterbots get a spotlight issue

Repugnus: the Jack Bauer of the Autobots
Doublecross: The Disfunctional one
Grotueque: The Dorky boss

The tech specs are pretty good, they actualy have personalities. Later tech specs were mostly lists of weapons and how fast they could go.

Wait... they're doing that.

 

I would like to see a spotlight on er, some of the City/Base bots such as Metroplex and Omega Supreme. It would be cool to see the war from their perpective.

 

How about Punch/Counterpunch. Lots of untapped potential there. Considering we just saw Doubledealer it would be cool to see his opposite number show up and foil his plans.

 

I'd like to see a spotlight issue portraying Skywarp as an assassin. With the ability to teleport combined with his black and purple colorscheme he always seemed like the ideal candidate for that type of role.

 

Nah, we need really obscure Characters that few people will know, Rippersnapper or Sinnertwin for example. Or Laserbeak, thirty odd pages of 'squawk!'

Seriously though, Spotlight on Hun-grr, Motormaster, Scrapper, Snap Trap or Onslaught, one of the Decepticon combiner team Leaders?

 

I still think a Wreckers mini-series would be cool. A spotlight one-shot would be too little.

 

I'd love to see a fort Max one, maybe some of the latter combiner teams, blaster and his tapes need some good story lines as well.

Oh and carnivac, that guy was so amazing in the marvel comics I'd love to see him in a one shot, either as a con or possibly just before switching sides.

 

Out of everything listed so far, I would have to go with repugnus, he's just too odd to pass up. I mean really, what the hell is he supposed to blend in with?

 

Throw in another vote for Repugnus (with the other Monsterbots for flavour if that's the way a story goes) and having at least one for a "huge TF" (Omega Supreme, Trypticon, etc) also could be very interesting.

SubotaiBaghatur: I'd rather see Thundercracker and how he questiones his own loyalty. But both seekers would make interesting stories instead of flunky #1 and flunky #2. As for the Monsterbots I'd love to see them re-done with either organic tranformations or vehicle modes. WWi has spoiled me good.

Dirge121: back in the 90's when the G1 series ended I envisioned a story where the war DID end and which Decepticons could be reformed. Oddly Onslaught and HunGrr were two decpeticons I figured could be reformed. Onslaught because he's a good soldier and follows orders even if they come from a new government, and HunGrr because he's a natural leader willing to do dirty work (kind of like a proto-Grimlock)

Without shell, transforms into a vertical take-off and landing hover jet with dual lasers. Within shell, armed with corrosive slime shooter and armor-piercing battle axe!

Maybe with a romantic angle and an autobot vampire hunter?

 

A comedic spotlight featuring the Firecons and the Sparkabots.

 

Squeezeplay is one of my favorite later year toys, but I think he'd make more sense as a one-shot antagonist (since every one-shot character seems to have one major foe or team to go up against)

Personally I'd like to see Deszaras or Ricochet (with Artfire?)

A hubcap one just to see him con the autobots like his profile says.
