After all the different series that have been produced by IDW/Dreamwave/Marvel I got to thinking how it would be cool to see a TF Shattered Glass ongoing or even just a mini series. FP started a very popular line with the Botcon set from '08 and I guess what I'm wondering is who else would be interested and if so what would you like to see in such a series

I would really love to have a Shattered Glass comic series.

I missed out on the 2008 BotCon, and I'm really interested in the whole evil Autobots vs. good Decepticons concept, so if IDW would be kind to produce a Shattered Glass comic series, I'd be eternally grateful.

Honestly, with what we've seen already, it would be a big pass for me.

I think it's best to leave that horrible fanwanky concept alone, so no.

I'm not sure how long the concept would last as an ongoing comic, but I wouldn't mind seeing a SG mini-series or two.

Definitely not an ongoing. G1 can barely support an ongoing, so a Shattered Universe wouldn't last very long.

No, the year the Club comic spent crossed over into that universe was terrible enough, thanks. I seriously can't think of any other TF universe in recent memory that I've disliked as much as Shattered Glass.

I am actually surprised for the dislike of SG, true it has its faults and yes the TFClub magazine did kind of go out there with it and I agree maybe an ongoing is too much but for sure a mini series would be cool. Maybe go more into some characters that haven't been introduced in the SG universe, like having Devastator and Menasor not be completely crazy when combined and have Computron more reckless like the G1 Menasor.

I think the problem is that the whole shattered universe idea has been done to death in sci-fi. It just feels old and the botcon guys just tactfully applied the idea to the transformers universe. Sure it made for some novel repaints, but the overall concept is just rather meh.

I wouldn't mind it, if it was an ongoing that was only half or a quarter of the book. Like the main part of the book would be one series, and the rest of it would be another.

As a one shot, fine. Ongoing? Forget it. It's a one-trick idea that would get old real fast.

But as a "special"...sure, why not.

Aye to miniseries, nay to ongoing. Mirror universes are terribly cliche, but I felt the writers did a pretty good job not making the characters simple opposites of what they are in the G1 universe. I would even go so far as to say that it felt that though the shattered universe could have been the original storyline, and not just based on existing material.
