Synopsis:

After once again accidentally combining into the Ultra Bee Team Combiner, the Autobots find Sideswipe has split into two individuals--each being one extreme of his personality. Now, the two Sideswipes must overcome their differences and learn to work together as the Bee Team pursues Stunticon Drag Strip.

 

This is the episode I'm most looking forward to. I wonder if there will be longterm ramifications from this split?

Also, I'm hoping that eventually Ultrabee merges fully and it's four minds as one with Drift being the talking sword.

 

For those who have seen this epi, please tell me that the split is remedied by the end of the epi. I mean, I want the Twins but not like this.

 

Yes, it was remedied.  

 

Just watched it, and actually liked it. Anyone else catch the Sunstreaker type references?  
I wouldn't have minded if it was left unremedied for a few episodes.

I loved the character development with Sideswipe in this one.

"I was always alone before I joined this team and I hated it."

That's...a little deep for a show like RID. It hit home for me a bit.

 

Did they look different when they split or was it basically 2 identical Sideswipes?

 

Identical but different personalities. There was sensitive but insecure Swipe, and the macho narcissist Swipe ( more like Sunstreaker ). I just about fell off my couch lmao when he complained about his paint job getting scratched.  
Bee even refered to them as the Sunshine duo, a play on Sunstreaker's nickname.

Now I REALLY want Sunny to show up, after watching this epi.

 

So Sideswipe doesn't like it when Strongarm is angry lol Insecure Sideswipe is adorable and relatable.

 

Pretty sure Strongarm knows that Swipe has a bit of a crush on her. Why though, is beyond me.

To each their own, I guess.  
Personally, I have disliked her character from the beginning. To me she comes off as whiny, conceited and a straight up brown noser. Given the choice, I'd choose Arcee ( Prime ) over her any day of the week.  

 

Personally I found Arcee to be very bland and one-dimensional, but as you said, to each their own.

At least we got a nice Chromia from one of her figures.

 

Sucks, I thought we were gonna see the birth of sunstreaker  

 

it would be a real shame if they dont bring in Sunstreaker this season.

Also hoping for a Jazz appearance again. It sucked he was only in one ep

 

Wow, they actually made me feel bad for Sideswipe. Bravo.
